"I bookeed two nights, 3/3 - 3/4/26 for a surgical appointment in Lakeland. I paid extra for the Personal Protection Plan assuming I would be able to cancel if something came up. My surgery was pushed back a week, and I tried to cancel or reschedule for another time. I went on the hotels.com site and corresponded with an AI since I couldn't get a hold of a person. "It" said that it was non-refundable and non rebookable. What did I pay for then on the Personal Protection Plan ?? I should get a full refund or two nights free. Neither were not helpful or accommodating. Wouldn’t use Hortels.com or Comfort Inn in the future. "

"I don’t even know where to start!!! When you pull up you think what a pretty hotel, you walk in the front door the smell from the air fresheners are way too strong you can’t stay in lobby long- We were greeted by a wonderful and I would say the most professional & kind receptionist her name is Kayla (the rest were horrible)! We got up to our room and it looked clean. We unpacked and settled in for the night. I was on my bed and my husband looked over and saw a bug crawling on the sheet. I got it although it was tiny and took a picture of it to find in horror that it was a BED BUG!! I got eaten up all over my body I have the pics to prove it. I immediately went down to Kayla and showed her the bug and it was confirmed to be BED BUGS!!!! With that said we wanted to leave hotel and I wanted to be reimbursed for that night bc of this nasty incident. The owner could not be reached (he didn’t answer the phone) Kayla said she emailed him and he said he’d be in on Sunday so bc Kayla was so kind and understanding we decided to switch floors and try another room. Last night we were told by Ray ( maintenance /housekeeping boss) who was also very kind that the owner would be in on Monday morning from 6a- 2p. When I woke up this morning I was told that he was in at 6a.m and left by 6:30 a.m- the kid at the front desk Andrew I think his name was-very rude. Instead of taking responsibility he Ran like a COWARD! I will be in touch with my attorney-PLENTY of other hotels to stay at!!"

"We came for spring training and the location was great only 2.5 miles away. There was plenty of space. The hosts were great, if we needed anything they were very attentive. "

"No breakfast even tho the front desk lady said was going to be muffins,yogurt, cereal, hot and cold breakfast etc, there was nothing.Door didn’t close all the way, paint missing everywhere and stains on the walls and furniture. The sheets were clean so that was a plus. It was also late after a soccer tournament so my son and I just needed beds. "

"It was great for a motel 6! But it’s a motel 6, so it’s not the most excellent place to stay. But I felt safe and slept well, and that’s what counts! 🙂"

"Staff wa great. But we stayed at Room 110. Mattress is probaly original, 15y old +. Me and my wife almost slept on diagonal towards the depression in the middle of the bed. Bathtub was cracked. Fair ammount of aints coming from behind mirror in the bathroom. Room door showing lots of signs that probablly was kicked around. The room we were Really old and badly maintained. AC was good and functional. Checkout worked fine. But really mininum standard for a La Quinta. "

"The room was very dirty carpet was dirty the furniture was filthy it was unsanitized homeless running all over it was not fit for anyone and why they charged that much money I don't know you need to do a better service on looking into your hotels that you represent"

"The rooms were very clean. The bathroom fixtures need to be updated as they were corroded but overall would stay here again. Staff very friendly. Lobby, pool etc all very clean."
