"Beautiful rooms with direct sea views and the Calanques in the distance. Breakfast offered a good variety and solid quality. The hotel was clean, the staff friendly, and the location excellent. Indoor parking (€28/day) is a safe option. Great location on the Corniche, making it easy to reach the Vieux-Port in about 10 minutes by car."

"The room was good. Except apparently no air conditioning for the whole week. If you left the windows open it was cool, however mosquitos would find their way in. If you do laubdry make sure you have coins, no credit card and the machine doesn’t give you change, nor does a store you have to buy something. Staff was helpful. Overall was good. Close to bus station if you want to travel downtown marseille, and you can walk to the waterfront in town "

"Great location but impossible parking challenges on busy beach weekends. Access to Marseille easy with bus and water taxi service, however. Beach just under the property is delightful but crowded. Great for a morning swim. Awesome views - the real "cabanon" experience. Property as advertised and clean, however there were a few maintenance issues (kitchen overhead light didn't work, outside patio not swept, no hooks to hang clothes or towels in bedroom or bathroom, missing toilet paper holder, no plugs or bedside lamp on left side of bed, some minor holes in the walls, for example). Kitchen well equipped. WiFi worked fine. Good communication with property manager. Overall would recommend - but understand this is a cabanon in Marseille, not a 5 star hotel! We would rent again."

"We had a very nice stay at La Maronaise! Excellent location if you enjoy being on the water. Beautiful sunsets! The village of Les Goudes is a very beautiful spot, but it helps to be fluent in French especially if you want to go to the restaurants there. The Calenques National Park is a wonder. I highly recommend seeing them from a private boat. Look up Bleu Evasion and ask for Skipper Christophe. He took very good care of us. Hiking is also a great way to see the calenques, but the hike back is very challenging. Don’t rent a car as there is no reserved parking spot and navigating Route de La Maronaise is more trouble than it’s worth. The washing machine is small and wasn’t cleaned.
