She could tell me the hotel was closed for winter but she had an other hotel in town called Hotel Platani Bolsena. We chose the first hotel to sit on the balcony with a drink overlooking the lake in the sunset. The sun went down and we ended up in ordinary rooms at a doll hotel with veer bad breakfast. "Loved my stay there, the owner tends the property and she is a very nice lady. The location isn't for everyone, and the general decor may seem outdated. However the room was great, and it felt modern and very comfortable. Breakfast was a small feast and very delicious. I would love to go back and stay a couple of weeks to enjoy the scenery, the pool and the quietness of the property, with a good book. "
