In the heart of the city of Bologna, a few steps from the beautiful park of Giardini Margherita, the apartment is on the ground floor of a characteristic 1930s building located in a quiet interior, in the shade of holm oaks and palm trees, with a large courtyard and a small flowery garden enjoys a particularly pleasant cool climate in summer, favored by the historic house and the position at the foot of the Bolognese hills. 
The studio is well-kept and furnished with style with a Boffi kitchenette, a comfortable and new double bed, walk-in closet, bathroom with shower and all the comforts for a pleasant holiday and the rest breaks that the excursions require.
The position is strategic to reach on foot all the most interesting cultural destinations of the city, in ten minutes on foot, through the scenic via Castiglione with the magnificent arcades, you will reach the Two Towers Garisenda and Asinelli; from Viale XII Giugno, under the shade of the scented lime trees in late spring, passing in front of the Church of San Domenico, you will reach Piazza Maggiore, the beating heart of the city and the exclusive and elegant Galleria Cavour; the various Alma Mater offices and the Municipal Theater are near and comfortable.
A few steps from the house, a large paid car park, the bus stop with lines that take and come from various destinations including the Central Train Station, from the Station take the direct bus line to the Guglielmo Marconi airport.
On the adjacent via Castiglione, the best ice cream shop in the city, an excellent pastry shop, as well as several restaurants, famous taverns, wine bars and small clubs and also a well-stocked market open 24 hours a day.
Our family lives in the building and will be happy to meet, advise and support the welcome guests.
In the hills near Marzabotto, we are the owners of an agricultural estate where we rent apartments and, among other activities, we produce natural wine that you will find as a welcome gift, in the Bologna studio.

Roberto was a great host, he help us with the parking and he suggest us a very nice restaurant, so nice that we went there two time. The appartement was perfect with everything we want. Great Bachelor Suite

Great location within short stroll to all of the main attractions. Check in was excellent and Roberto was patiently waiting our arrival when we were delayed coming from the train station. Well equipped home with amazingly comfortable bed and pillows. We would stay here again

We appreciate the fact that our host was there to greet us and explain all the amenities. He even offered to call us a cab when we were leaving. He gave us a map and highlighted the many attractions as well as giving suggestions on restaurants and a gelato place. We had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. The place was clean and the location was good. Downtown was easy walking distance.

Beautiful Bologna!

We really enjoyed our stay here! Great location and our host Roberto gave us great tips on things to see and places to eat! We fell in love with Bologna during our stay. We definitely want to come back. Beautiful courtyard garden area was the perfect atmosphere for us. Short walk to city center. We'll be back!!!

Loved Bologna

I felt well taken care of

This is a wonderful studio apartment for one person. Roberto has thought of everything. Whenever I was looking around for some thing, I then found it. The communication with Roberto was incredible even when he was in another country the first couple of days that I arrived. Unfortunately Was sick and as soon as he and his wife returned, they were so kind and helpful. It is very quiet location

Beautiful Bologna

We really enjoyed our stay in Roberto’s Garden apartment. Set in a green oasis, it has all the facilities two people need - especially the kitchen for simple meals and a functional bathroom with large shower and good water pressure. Great to have a washing machine too! Apartment is located in a quiet residential neighbourhood with many dining options including the best gelataria and pasticceria shop only a few minutes walk away. It’s also only a ten minute walk to Piazza Maggiore and 20-25 min walk to main train station so very convenient. Roberto is a genial and thoughtful host, exemplified by the extensive information folder detailing from restaurant recommendations, local supermarket and instructions on the operation of all appliances. Would definitely recommend! *****

Roberto's place is a great spot to visit Bologna. It's a stone's throw from the heart of the city and not far from a couple of key sites just outside the city. There are also many restaurants and shops a mere block away. The apartment is well equipped with a kitchen and although a studio it has a full-size bathroom, with a washer and its own hot water. There's also air conditioning. Roberto is a great host. The first night we were there he called a local restaurant and got us a reservation. Something I'm sure if we'd done on our own would not have resulted in a reservation 'that night'. Some notes; the garden in the complex that the apartment is in really isn't much to go on about. Probably a fine place for a smoke if you're a smoker but not really a spot to hang out in. The apartment is on the ground floor of a medium-sized apartment/condo complex, there are windows but no view. The complex is quiet and secure. We found it difficult to obtain a taxi near the property during what I'll call off hours; for instance on Sunday morning (9 a.m.) when we needed to get to the train we ended up having to walk to the center of town before we could get a taxi using the phone app. Otherwise during 'normal hours' we didn't have any trouble with getting a taxi right outside the door to the complex. We'd definitely visit again.

Fun times in Bologna

We had a great experience! Roberto is a gracious, friendly and knowledgeable host. He greeted us at check in and provided a great deal of information about restaurants, sites, and stores for necessities. He made a reservation for us at a nearby restaurant, and even came by to translate a notice I had received in Italian about a train strike. He was quickly responsive to every inquiry. The apartment was clean and had all necessities. It is in a great location ! Less than 10 minutes to major sites, near the bus line, and about 3-5 minutes to the gelato shop and pasticceria, both of which were off the charts good!! We are looking forward to returning to Bologna, and will definitely stay at the Hidden Garden!!
