"Lovely hotel right on the lake, stunning! All staff lovely and professional especially Maja on reception, she really went above and beyond! Lovely pool and spa area! Nice breakfast! Lovely room with stunning view!"
"Most beautiful view from the room, the staff was really helpful and always willing to make you feel at home.
Unfortunately I didn’t give a perfect score because the rooms and reception were dated.
Apart from that, and excellent options to stay in Bled."
"Was there for 3 nights. After the first night the AC stopped working. Maintenance tried to fix it, but it didn't work. We tried to change rooms but we're told they were booked and there wasn't an option to switch. One desk clerk was very unhelpful telling us just to open the door to the terrace. We tried and it was very noisy and then a bee flew in. We had to close it. We were very warm and uncomfortable and had difficulty sleeping the last 2 nights."
"Staff friendly, room view of the lake stunning. Nothing particularly wrong with hotel, just we thought it was a 'wellness' type hotel, spa facilities, serene , calm , he erbal teas, yoga and healthy meals - perfect for couples - the reality is a more family orientated, kids screaming running round pools, canteen style buffet etc"
"Hotel Sunrose was very comfortable. The room was spacious and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was extensive and delicious and it was so nice to see so many fresh home made items on the menu. We really enjoyed the swimming pool which was lovely as it was a natural pool without chlorine. The only thing I would say is that I wasn't impressed that use of the sauna wasn't included in the room rate and the charge was 45 Euros for 2 hours. I would have liked to have been able to pop in for half an hour."
"Great location- walkable to Mostnica Gorge and waterfall as well as Bohinj Lake. The staff were friendly and helpful; the food in the restaurant was tasty. Only complaint is the WiFi was patchy in the room."
"We were very surprised as I changed our whole Slovenia itinerary to be able to stay here based on the positive reviews. The staff here are extremely unwelcoming. We were very caught off guard with how poor the hospitality was. Lacking in even basic communication skills. We were given almost no information about the hotel or surrounding area upon check in. The hotel is beautiful and perfect location to enjoy the lake. It was just very disheartening to arrive so excited and basically be handed the key and pointed towards the room. We had no clue about amenities offered by the hotel or what was recommended for food, activities, etc. Staff were very cold and rude when asked about these things. We would not recommend to stay here unless you’ll be out of the hotel for the entirety of the day. We would not stay here if we returned back to Bohinj."
Hostels are a great way to stay for a lower cost, so you can save your money for fun things to do. You can enjoy activities like skiing, and the lake views create an appealing natural setting.
