Stunning home and views!

Absolutely loved this home its decor, its amenities and location. Also, loved that the 3 bedrooms are in separate locations in the house, giving everyone privacy if you happen to bring guests to stay. It's a short drive to Bodega bay restaurants as well. We will definitely stay here again.

Perfect Stay

Unbelievable views, great property to stay at, easy access to the beach via stairs. The entire family loved this beach house and now that we finally found a great stay we will definitely be staying there again. Great host!

Absolutely loved our stay at this Bodega Bay beach house! The view of the ocean right outside the window and just down the hill was breathtaking. The open layout of the house made it feel so spacious and welcoming. The hot tub and steam room were the perfect touches for relaxing after a day of exploring the coast. Peaceful, clean, and everything we needed for a perfect getaway—can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful stay at Deja Blu!

Our group of six friends stayed at Deja Blu for the weekend, and we had a wonderful time. The ocean views from the living room, kitchen and master bedroom main house are absolutely spectacular, and the house decor is lovely with blue accents. The view from the deck and the firepit is gorgeous, we watched the sunset from there both nights. The living room is spacious and comfortable and perfect for our group. During the day we hiked on nearby trails (Shell Beach/Red Hill) and also just walked a couple of blocks to the beach in front of the property in the morning and evening. The beds were comfortable and we also loved the garden. Beautiful stay!

2nd time guests

we absolutely love this property and the views. This is our2nd stay at this home and will continue coming here. The rooms are separate from each other for extra privacy if you're traveling with friends, each with it's own bathroom. The owner is very accommodating and great communication as well. We love the hot tub and the patio for relaxing outdoors and listening to the waves crash.

Our Family Tradition

Every year my husband and I plan a long weekend for our grown kids and their signficant others. Our favorite location is Bodega Bay and this is our favorite house! The views are amazing, the layout of the house is perfect for three couples and it is always clean and ready for us! We can't wait to come back!

Very nice place to spend the night.

We were a group of two adults and three kids. Our trip to Bodega Bay was for fishing but it was a busy weekend and I resorted to VRBO to find something suitable. This house was a perfect fit. Spacious and well designed with easy access to the beach front. Only ten minutes from the Bodega harbor, it was serene, fun (especially the hot tub) and we wanted to stay longer.

Fantastic Home

This property is truly one of a kind. We have stayed at a number of homes along the Sonoma coast and found this to be our favorite. The website photos are accurate and you will find an exceptionally clean property. Highly recommend a stay.

Fantastic Views and Home

We wanted a place where we could hear the ocean and enjoy a hot tub. This place fit the bill. It was very relaxing and exactly what we needed. The house was nicely decorated and the kitchen had all the items needed for a stay. We highly recommend this place if this is what you are looking for.

A Lovely Home

Spectacular Views

Long time VRBO renter all over the US and this house is definitely in the top 3. Very clean and well equipped and there are lots of comfortable spaces for lounging so we never felt “crowded “. Easy walk to beach. The host was very nice and accommodating. We’ll definitely be back !

Beautiful House

We had a fantistic stay at this vacation house. The views are breathtaking. The layout of the house was perfect for our group of three couples. Each couple had their own comfortable space, and the common areas were well designed for socialing, puzzle making and games! AMAZING Get Away!

The property is spectacular — incredible views and walkable to beach. We all enjoyed sitting on the deck around the fire pit or relaxing in the hot tub gazing at the stars. Lots of wildlife as well — various birds, bunnies, raccoons and even a bobcat. The town of Bodega Bay is close by as well as various parks. We truly enjoyed our stay. Thank you Barr for opening your home to us to enjoy! If we have an opportunity to return, we will!

Wonderful Stay!

We had a wonder family vacation. A five star rating across the board. The house is beautiful. The interior is stylish, roomy, and clean. The kitchen well equipped, and the rear deck is delightful. And excellent communication with the owner. The view is amazing and it is literally a 60-90 second walk to the beach. We have stayed at some wonderful VRBO rentals over the years and this one ranks as one of the best.

What a view

Best part is the ocean view that surrounds you and second best is the comfort of the interior as well as exterior of the home. We love that every room is different and set apart from one another, each with its own en-suite bath. Barb is responsive throughout.

50th Birthday

What a beautiful home and a sensational location. We’ll definitely be back. We chose this site for it’s distance from the beach, 5 minutes through the backyard and across the street, and the jacuzzi. The additional suite was perfect for our friends and their 1 year old. The views from the main house are fabulous. The host was very quick to respond and very accommodating. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to make your own meals. We had a celebration to remember!

Disappointed

This property is great for lots of reasons- view, close to beach, hot tub. I gave a 4-star rating because we stayed there last thanksgiving and I told the manager that the gas cooktop was not working properly. Burners would not stay on and were impossible to adjust. She thanked me for this. We rented again this thanksgiving and were really bummed that the gas cooktop was exactly the same! Very challenging for a family of cooks! If you don’t plan to cook the house is great.

Best vacation ever!

My daughter, grandaughter and myself (grandma) stayed 4 days and 3 nights and it was absolutly perfect! The house is exactly as pictured and the location was remote enough for privacy but only 8 minutes from the town of Bodega Bay. We walked the 3 minute path in back to the beach at least 3 times a day. The views are breathtaking and the sounds of the ocean waves so relaxing. We spent hours in the hot tub and enjoying the beauty around us. The house is very clean, very well stocked and had an excellant vibe. Barr is very responsive and easy to work with. I cant say enough about the place. Worth every penny. We will never forget our time spent at magical deja blue!

Amazing location and view but big problems

This was our second stay at this beautiful property. Unfortunately this time wasn’t as great as the first time. The whole reason we were there was for the ocean view, the sounds of the waves and for family time together. But the large windows overlooking the water were very dirty. The barbeque was filthy and one whole day was spent listening to the sounds of weed whackers and blowers from a crew cutting down the very overgrown landscaping. The manager did give us a small compensation but overall we were very disappointed. We’ll choose a different property next time.
