This little carriage house was perfect for us. With the bedroom separate from the main room, which include another bed, we had ample room and privacy. The cottage itself was clean with a lovely decor. We only stayed one night, but this place was definately equipped for a longer stay.

An amazing getaway

The carriage house is stunning! A cozy, clean and relaxing place to stay. No detail was overlooked by Suki when planning for the comfort of guests. Private and quaint patio is surrounded by lush perennial gardens creating a warm ambience. Coffee shop close by, and beautiful beach a quick drive away.. Loved this place!!

One of the Best

This property was outstanding. Very inviting, equipped with anything one would want, and I loved the bathtub. Maureen was a gracious host and very welcoming. She suggested a great place for dinner. All in all this was one of the best VBRO’s we have stayed in. We highly recommend it!

The magnificent carriage house

We loved staying in this modern home which was so welcoming, clean and well decorated. Suki is a caring and pleasant host. She made us feel good. We enjoyed the surrounding beaches, museum, shops and restaurants. Grand Bend and Bayfield are must-sees. Thank you Suki we arrive home with hearts full of beautiful memories!

Welcoming Clean Place

After a day spent at the pinery, it was great to arrive to a super clean and welcoming place to stay. Suki made all attempts to have everything on site you would need and then some. When we arrived she had a glass of wine ready for myself and my husband, some bubbles for my son to play with and treats for my dog. We very much enjoyed our stay!

We really enjoyed spending time at the Carriage House. It’s a very comfortable place to getaway and relax . Meeting Suki was a pure delight. She is helpful with anything you need to make your stay the best . I’ll be sure to tell friends and family to go and stay at the cutest cottage around .

Best rental ever!!

I don’t think my boyfriend or I have ever stayed in a better rental property. We absolutely loved our time in the Carriage House. Everything was so clean, there were so many thoughtful and useful small touches and Maureen is an angel of a person. She even had wine waiting for us upon arrival! We would definitely return for another visit.

Suki was an amazing and thoughtful host. The property is clean, well maintained, beautifully decorated and well appointed with everything you may need for an enjoyable stay. Weekend getaway

This cozy carriage house is the perfect location for visiting the area. It's a quick drive to beautiful beaches for long walks. Halfway between Grand Bend and Bayfield there's lots to do and see. We had terrific dinners at Paddington's Pub (Grand Bend) and The Black Dog Bistro (Bayfield). The carriage house is cozy and spotless. Suki is a wonderful hostess and had lots of suggestions for touring in the area. We highly recommend! Maureen and Dave

You've gotta stay here!

The Carriage House is located directly between Grand Bend and Bayfield. Just a few minutes off the Bluewater Highway. Serene and immaculate. We needed for nothing! Suki our host is amazing. I highly recommend. We are going back! If you golf bring your clubs.

This property is in a great location if you want to enjoy the beaches and small quaint towns on the shores of Lake Huron. The Carriage House is very modern and the host has thought of all the little details - from a beach umbrella and beach chairs to coffee creamer in the fridge. The host had set out wine for us and juice boxes for the kids upon arrival. She made us feel like VIPs. So much more comfortable than a standard hotel room. It was such a fantastic experience. I highly recommend this place and the host, Suki, is a gem!

The cutest stay in the cutest village

My dog and I stayed at The Carriage House for one night and boy do I ever wish it had been for longer. From the second I walked into the private courtyard, I could tell that the place was well-cared for and created with an abundance of love. Suki thought of every single thing to make our stay personalized, enjoyable, comfortable and unforgettable—from the wine (for me) and dog treats, to the perfect ambiance of the courtyard and decor of the interior. I really did not want to leave! I can 100% say that I’ll definitely be going back.

Weekend at the carriage on frederick

Suki does an amazing job of welcoming you in and providing a secure, beautiful and cozy carriage house for your overnight stays. The attention to detail is spectacular!!! What can I say, these rave reviews are so true!! The Carriage House was such a beautiful and relaxing place to stay. From the moment I booked, the wonderful hostess Suki was responsive to all my questions. I was blown away when I stepped into the space, it was even more lovely than the pictures showed. Everything you could need is there for your convenience, but the most memorable was Suki, her warm welcome and thoughtfulness will not soon be forgotten. The town itself is friendly and peaceful, just what I needed. And very close to many fun things to do! I hope to return very soon ❤

Amazing stay

Beautiful property, sadly when while we were there it was pouring rain and windy so we didn’t end up enjoying any of the outdoors. The house was recently renovated and every little detail was so well thought out, and made to be cute and cozy. Between the fireplace and the record player, we weren’t too upset about missing the outdoors. Suki, the owner, made us feel very welcomed with a bottle of wine and doggie treats for our puppy upon our arrival. Looking forward to visiting again next summer. Thank you Suki!
