Ski Trip

Cozy & Quaint. A lot of thought and love have gone into this rental. The kitchen was well equipped for our purposes of breakfast and dinner. Perfect location for getting back and forth to Appalachian Ski Mountain Resort.

Amenities were exactly described in the listing....great getaway location for hubby and I. Close to Boone and Blowing Rock and nice to have all bedding and towels provided. Host was extremely responsive to questions....would definitely stay here again!

Excellent stay for the weekend with my husband! We even had a few visitors come up while we was out on the porch! Would definitely stay here again! Easiest check in and check out process I’ve ever had!

The entire stay was great! The cabin was very nice and very clean. It had everything there that you might need…and the host was exceptional. Communication was excellent!!! I actually was able to call him and thank him for everything. He was nice. I would stay here again…anytime.

An absolute gem! Convenient to Boone and Blowing Rock but you feel miles and miles away. Place is very clean and Jose is fantastic and communicating and making sure your stay is perfect. Highly recommend.

We had a nice stay, it was quiet and had no issues, but didn’t realize that we’d be staying in the downstairs area. The stairs got a bit slippery with all the rain/mist that we had. At least they were for us older people.

Convenient location to town, perfect place for two!

Easy to find, great wifi, and a comfortable bed, what more can you ask for? Great little space with wonderful views of the sunrise each morning. 10 min to downtown Boone or Blowing Rock. Two minutes from App Ski Mnt. Jose is a great host and easy to communicate with. Would stay again!

When we got there, the floors were so slick I slid across it.Floors were not cleaned; my socks were black within a few hours. Bedroom and bathroom smelt like a damp basement. Our clothes, pillows and towels were constantly damp feeling. Maybe get a de-humidifier? or Damp Rid?The cabin was decorated as a true " Deer Cabin" and it was very well done. Also the patio off of the bedroom, would have a better view if the tree growing right at it was removed.Log framed sofa needs new cushion, didn't sit too good, and bigger bed would be better than the full size. Outside could use a pressure wash, the green mold was bad on stairway and porch. I am not complaining of every little thing, I am only trying to give you notice on things that can be improved. We enjoyed our stay and will be back. We will go for the upstairs unit next time, getting too old for all those stairs.
