"The location was very good for visiting the city and also for a trip to the mountains the appartment was clean. There was less kitchen inventury and towels The host was not as friendly as what we are used from Slovenian people There was no furniture to sit in the garden."

"We received the check-in instruction the day before, everything went smoothly. Parking right beside of the apartment gate, very useful to have the apartment on the ground floor for luggage. Apartment looked new, kitchen has no oven or microwave or dishwasher or washing machine, but well equipped to cook small meals. It is like 2km from the town center or less than 10min drive. Neighbourhood feel safe. "

" Charming , quiet hotel. The room didn’t have bath towels and the shower drain was clogged . Bathroom light was not functioning . Breakfast was inadequate. Overall I was happy for a one night stay."

"Very much disappointed., I was shocked when I found that our room was alloted in the basement of the hotel. The room was dark as the amount of daylight enters through two small windows at ceiling height is very less. It is worth mentioning here that we had to cancel earlier accommodation and book this particular hotel hurriedly because to meet the requirements of Slovenian Consular for submission of non refundable hotel booking document for Visa approval. "Overall, we had an excellent stay at the Grand Plaza Hotel. It's walkable to the major sites. The staff were all very helpful and allowed us a late check out and others an early check in if they could. The breakfast was amazing with so many choices and the staff was very on top of refilling things that were emptied. We had a beautiful room, with an amazing view of the city and the other room had a castle view. The two things to be aware of - 1. The A/C works but not as well as other hotels we visited on Slovenia and it was an unusually cool few days. I'm not sure what it would do in the heat of the summer. 2. The bathroom is beautiful but has a shower/tub combo with a deep tub that was quite slippery. That may be a problem for some. "
