We stayed just for one night there. Everything was ok. Next time we'll stay for longer 😉. We went fishing across the street. I liked the very friendly staff at the reception🔥🙂 The main thing for us was that we could stay with our dog 🐕❤️there

Expensive for what it was, an old motel that needs some serious renovation. Parts of the room had been renovated but lots of things were left in likely original condition and cracking and falling apart. At the price point you’re better off staying elsewhere for less, or somewhere nicer for the same or a little more.

Very quaint little family owned motel, a rarity these days. Very friendly and helpful and welcoming. Comfortable mattress, pillows, and good cable, very clean room, everything you need for a comfortable relaxing night.

We arrived very late. Just called in the afternoon and they left our room opened with the key in the room. Nice, convenient clean room. Beautiful lake and falls accross the street.

Older, but cute little motel. We had a room in the back so no highway noise. Had difficulty connecting to wifi, called and had help at the door in minutes (our fault - wifi was great). Beautiful area with a short drive into town for food.

Very clean room, good amenities (Small fridge is pretty cold, in contrast to other motels’, whose units are just slightly cool.), and well-kept premises. Liked my room’s lakeside view. A unique experience in my hotel/motel stays is the friendly innkeeper at this location. As well as the owner’s son even sending a welcoming email when you book. Talk of great personal touches.

If you are looking for a Hilton, keep going. If you are looking for a clean, quiet and comfortable bed, give them a shot. Absolute beautiful view of the Mississagi River

Book MacIver !!!

Suprisingly Pleasant!!! We are from Atlanta, Ga came to visit family on the reservation for a week on an unplanned visit, the motel gave a cabin feel with the lake right across the street omg!!!! most beautiful scenery to wake up to. The staff was sooooooo accomadating . Will book again for sure.

I stay at McIvers every year when I make the trek across the country to see family. Always a good stay. Clean, comfortable, and the staff is always helpful and courteous. They are pet friendly too which I appreciate. Bonus, Tim Horton's is only 5 minutes down the road, lol.
