「The hotel has a great view, is on a hill, and is quiet and relaxing. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. I appreciate that coffee and tea are available 24 hours a day in the lobby lounge. However, it is a 10-15 minute walk uphill from Wengen station, so while it's not a problem for people with good legs, it was difficult for elderly people like us. 「The owners who are mom and son are just the angels of the place. They go an extra mile to make sure you are comfortable and not go hungry. The property is awesome and the bar though small had all the goodies one needs.
The Son is a true human being. We reached late and the dining was closed for the night. Even then he made sure that we got something to eat and made some fries and bread with butter and treated us to a very local peach schnapps to top the experience.
