「We stayed for 9 days, as we wanted to immerse ourselves in the charming town of Dingle. The home was even more lovely and comfortable than we expected and in the perfect location. The store keepers next-door were so friendly and helpful, as was Shelly the manager. The house is elegantly simple without too much clutter, all the necessary amenities, and great local details, such as locally-made wool blankets and bathroom products. We found the products in a nearby store, and I took some home....

「Meg and Mike were fantastic hosts. Scones and jam was a very welcome touch. Communication from hosts was easy and quick. Free range eggs, bread, jam, butter and milk was generously supplied. Vases of flowers placed around added to the beautiful space. Decor was superb. The Sanctuary was clean, comfortable and a peaceful space I’d rate it all as 10/10. Lovely chats were enjoyed with Meg and Mike, with helpful tips re sightseeing and places to eat. Would highly recommend The Sanctuary. 」

「We were on a 4 sister trip from the US and had a wonderful time here. It was a nice “home base” as we traveled around during the day. The home had everything we needed and walking distance to MANY pubs and restaurants. Great memories to last a lifetime were made.」

「Es ist ein kleines Cottage hinter einem Haus der Vermieter, aber komplett unabhängig. Lage sehr schön auf Valentia Island, ca. 5km bis zum Festland. Guter Ort um auch ein bisschen länger (~ 1 Woche) zu verweilen. Durch Insellage aber relativ weite Wege z.B. nach Kilkenny o.ä. ACHTUNG: Buchung über Travelnest (TN): hier habe ich schlechte Erfahrung gemacht, da TN zunächst eine Probebuchung auf die Kreditkarte macht und zwar in brit. Pence, dann sperrt Mastercard die Karte, weil sie illegalen...

「When you are paying top dollar for a property, one would NOT expect to have to check in and then drive three blocks and pay an additional 15 euro for electricity, no instructions on how to turn on hot water, no towels, and overall one, if not the worst rental experiences I have every had anywhere in Europe, for the money they are charging all items should have been included. 「A group of 5 friends attending the All Ireland Coastal Rowing championships, we had a great stay. The house was spacious & airy. It was very clean with comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen. Lovely view to the bay from the front door. Check-in was very easy. 」
