「We were greeted with chocolate chip cookies and a glass of wine and seltzer, while the property owners fed a herd of deer out in front of an amazingly beautiful canyon scape. The was more deer feed at the cabin, which we sprinkled in the meadow out front, and had lots of deer visitors which we enjoyed watching. We had questions about how to get to a favorite peach stand, which our hosts answered quite expertly with detailed directions. Breakfast was supreme, with farm fresh eggs, biscuit dough,...

「About 8 miles outside of Wimberley. Extremely well done cabin on hilltop. Great escape. Not for kids as it is surrounded by woods and not really suited for children. Sister cabin is about 40 yards away but still very secluded. Works well either by itself or close enough to other cabin to allow for a larger group. Perfect for a couple’s retreat. 」

「This was a wonderful place to stay. My only complaint is that the water was super hard, I guess, because the shampoo did not lather, and my hair never felt clean. The water pressure in the shower was rather low which might have also contributed to the hair washing issue. 」
