Great location to the pleasure beach, really far from town centre so bare that in mind, tram is just across from hotel so not all bad, superb breakfast, little dated decor and could do with a freshen up but it is Blackpool so do not expect the Ritz, would deffo stay here again and free parking
We have just returned from a 2 night stay. The hotel was comfortable and very reasonably priced and with a breakfast included. The owner Kaz is lovely, he is really friendly and accommodating. I would definitely return. Thank you Kaz for a really enjoyable stay.
Myself wife an children stayed for one night 25.08.24. Nice welcome on arrival room was clean great facilites comortable beds warm an quiet room . Great breakfast definently would recommend will be returning later in year.
From walking in we were met by Kaz who explained where to park then checked us in and showed us our room. Went down to use the bar and pool facilities, what cracking host nothing was to much trouble. Walk in as a stranger walk out like family definitely recommend and we will definitely be back .
The Alderley Hotel is a lovely bed and breakfast very conveniently situated near to Blackpool Pleasure Beach. The owners were kind and accommodating throughout our stay. They even went out and bought oat milk in time for breakfast! Their young daughter Karya was a fantastic waitress. She had excellent customer service skills and is a credit to their family!
Breakfast was really tasty and staff was amazing, place by the sea, owner friendly and helpful.
However, if you travel as solo or couple and like peaceful place I no recommend. I know its not owner faults but people. If you want to go there not recommend in a busy time like bank holiday. Room is nice and comfy but its not noise proof, also the people walking above us all night, and next to us you can hear everything. Tram is close aswell what is perfect.
Don’t judge a book by its cover. First impressions from the outside were that it looked a bit run down and many of the hotels near by were closed or boarded up. However once inside the owners were very friendly. Although we didn’t use the bar, other folk used the bar and the pool table and the atmosphere was good. The room was basic but clean and the bathroom was very clean with a very good hot shower. Breakfast was first class. I believe other meal options are also available but we didn’t check these out. Car park at the rear was a bit rough but we had no issues. Overall well pleased with our stay. The hosts were very welcoming and I would not hesitate to stay again.
Hotel was lovely owner was very nice and we were made to feel welcome very friendly very clean would definitely go back but would request a first floor room

Dont have high expectations.
I booked a superior room with sea view. No complaints about the view however if this was a superior room then heaven help the rest.
The saving grace, a comfortable bed.
Ok at the end of the season there will always be marks and damage but no excuse for a dirty bathroom including a mouldy shower when a £3 spray will clear it in minuets.
Its a shame because in most ways Kas the owner was a nice guy.

The staff was very welcoming i was disappointed with not having sea view and i payed for the breakfast but waited 2 hours but it got to the end where my lift turned up the bathroom was cobwebs on the walls
Damp cold room, windows didn’t shut properly, and as a result made an intermittent whistling noise throughout the night, making it difficult to sleep. When I unplugged phone charger in the morning the whole socket came out the wall, that on further inspection wasn’t wired up correctly. My partner is vegetarian and there was no alternative option on the cooked breakfast in the morning. Room was tired with laminate coming off the furniture and in the bathroom.

Not for us
Given a top floor room when we had asked for a lower floor.
Ate there once in the evening and the food was bland an cool. Except the prawn cocktail which was bizarrely fiery hot !!!
Be aware that there is no lift and the stairs are very steep.
On a plus point the breakfast was lovely
Owner was really accommodating we asked for a fan and he let us borrow his fan. We also have a beautiful view from our room, it was clean and the sheets smells really nice. The only downside is that the room is on the third floor and we have to carry all our luggage through the stairs. It is walking distance to Pleasure Beach and not noisy. All in all we are please with our stay.
Altin & Kaz were wonderful hosts. Very friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful, excellent value for money. The location of the hotel was ideal for us, not far from South Pier, right by a tram stop but also away from the busiest parts so we could get my little one to sleep happily. For our first overnight stay in Blackpool we were very happy!
