"The cabin was just as cute as it could be. It was close to dining and the exterior was stunning. However, the interior could use an upgrade. The mattresses and pillows were uncomfortable. The furnishings were old and tired. The doorknob fell off as soon as we went into the room but my sister asked for a screwdriver from the front desk staff and fixed it for them. The soda machine was out of order and the coffee pot had cold and watered down coffee so that was a disappointment. The walls were paper thin and we could hear every step coming from upstairs. We weren’t aware we were going to have someone over us. All in all, there was good and bad."

"The Franconia Inn was exactly what we were looking for on our first visit to New Hampshire's White Mountains. The quaint yet upscale atmosphere of this beautiful old farmhouse was a delight. Approaching from the road, you're greeted by a grand stone porch—rugged, sturdy, and elegant. The large front door opens into a welcoming foyer and check-in area, where a friendly clerk handed us our keys and sent us on our way. Beautiful dining rooms to the left and inviting sitting rooms to the right, complete with a fire burning in the magnificent stone fireplace, made us feel at home before we even reached our room. Our bedroom was cozy, with the lived-in charm of an old inn, yet clean and well-kept. Garnet Hill linens throughout—the bedding, pillows, and towels—were a lovely touch. Fun fact: Garnet Hill has an outlet store right in Franconia, next to their headquarters! Electrical outlets were inconveniently located, but a provided power strip kept our laptops connected to customers. Otherwise, the Inn was a joy to come home to each evening. Parking across the street was manageable, even in the rain, and the road was quiet. The early morning countryside was so peaceful - fog settling over the glider field across the street and the quiet sounds of horses in the neighboring barn, waiting to take riders out for a leisurely stroll. If you're looking for comfortable nostalgia, you won't be disappointed by the Franconia Inn!"

"Great place to stay. The views are amazing, the room was easily accessible and clean. Most importantly, the staff was great since we arrived later than originally planned, nearly around midnight. But we were able to check in with no issues. I would definitely stay again and recommend to others!"

"Beautiful property. Immaculate grounds. Well located outside the bustle of the Village but still very close to everything. The only downfalls are room was not automatically cleaned and although the selection at breakfast buffet was very nice, hot foods weren’t kept warm. Breakfast potatoes appeared to be reheated latkes which would have been fine but they weren’t warm enough and dried out."

"We loved staying here! The ice was conveniently bagged in ziplock bags, the tvs all have streaming services so you select your check out date, log into whatever streaming service you have and it logs you out when you check out. The staff is very kind and accommodating, they have fire pits and you just pay $6 and they give you a lighter and bucket of wood. Everything was very clean and no bugs or dirt or stains on anything. We will be back!"

"Cute cabin location by the river with river access. They have a game room, fire pit, grill, and out door oven. Easy check in. It is outdated but feels like camping in a real cabin. There are heaters but they're not powerfull enough to keep you warm. It is cold at night. (Plan ahead for that). I would come back and pack a heating blanket next time."
