We came up to celebrate my daughter's 21st birthday so it was me and my wife, and my daughter and her partner. The house was nice enough although there were a few things amiss. The kitchen was the only area of the house that had been updated. The rest of the house had old, outdated furniture, but that didn't bother us much. The rug in the living room did, however. It was curled up on the sides and was a major tripping hazard. There must have also been a leak in the master bathroom as the walls in the dining room were bare to the studs as well as in the master bath itself. You could actually see the dining room through the floor of the master bathroom, so that was a little unsettling. And this was not disclosed to us prior to arrival. Otherwise, there was a ton of deck space in the front and the back but there was only one set of four chairs. The hot tub was great under the night sky, except for the motion lights that kept getting set off by insects. The steam behind the house was nice. It was low but you could hear it with the windows open. There was quite a bit of debris like styrofoam, cinder blocks, and an old fishing basket discarded in the stream. It was not fishable on this property, but the adjacent property had nicely managed the bank and cleared the stream of any rocks and I could see fish jumping just downstream. It would have been trespassing to enter so we did not. Overall not a bad deal for the price, all things considered.
