「I use this as a stop over before and after flying at Newcastle Airport. It’s a 7 minute walk to the terminal and it clean and the owners are friendly and very helpful especially regarding early morning departure or late night arrivals. More comfortable than the three other hotels on airport 」

「I booked this last minute as our other booking cancelled and we needed somewhere to stay for a nearby wedding. Wow this is a gorgeous place. Everything from organising an early check in for us to the lovely breakfast the next day was amazing. Our room was like a suite with a lovely super king bed and the bathroom was also massive. For the price you pay it’s such a good deal and we will be returning and might book the golf or evening meal as add ons. 」
「This could be a fantastic hotel but unfortunately the facilities are very lacking. This hotel doesn’t serve lunch or evening meals as they don’t have a chef yet. As this place is a bit out of the way it wasn’t what we were expecting. We had paid for 2 nights but left after 1. We booked a deluxe room with garden view. Deluxe it definitely was not. The shower cubicle had the previous guest hair on the walls. Not for us and we wouldn’t return. Could be a fabulous place. Hats off to the guy running...
「A lovely traditional building, beautifully decorated and good sized rooms. It's cuisine, not average grub. Challenges me to try something different. Friendly, helpful staff. An affordable treat. Fabulous location close to the Abbey with disc parking across the road and a large free car park 5 minutes walk away by the Wentworth Centre. Second visit. If they start to accept well behaved dogs I'll be back again. 」
「A very clean and comfortable place. The rooms were very nice and the beds quite comfortable. The bathrooms were up to date and there was plenty of hot water. The pub next door was very hand for a drink and breakfast in the morning. Very friendly staff. 」
「The check in was fast and friendly, the room is lovely, with a nice view. There was quite a lot of noise from the street below early in the morning and the church bells were regular throughout the night. The breakfast was a good amount but lukewarm spolt the vibe. The price we paid , i think was high for this standard.」
「Great 3 night stay at the Keelman. Check in nice and easy, staff friendly and very helpful. Room was good, big enough for us, and had all we needed, bed comfortable, shower really good, clean and tidy. (Maybe could do with a fridge) the surroundings were very nice, a short walk to the Riverside park. Bar and restaurant were lovely, and nice outside sitting area. Food and beers excellent, especially the Prince Bishop, would definitely stay here again」
