We loved it. The rooms are very spacious, the home is beautiful, and the area was perfect. It was extremely quiet in the neighborhood after 9 p.m., which was very appreciated. The local shops and various restaurants are less than 5 minutes away. We were there for my sister to have back surgery the following morning. We only got to stay one night but I could see being very comfortable if we'd stayed a week or longer. It's convenient to the Interstates but just the right distance away to have a private, quiet stay. You can't get that in a hotel.

We booked this VRBO when we were having out of town guests and couldn't comfortably fit everyone at our house. The 6 guests who stayed at the house were very comfortable and the location is ideal to Homewood, downtown, or Mtn. Brook. Daniel was friendly and a good communicator by phone and messaging.

The house was exactly what we were hoping for, 4 adults in town for the RTJ Trail. Nice, clean, and close to downtown. Communication with Daniel was excellent. We were not planning on using the day bed, which was the only issue we had. It just about collapsed with any weight on it and needs to be replaced if anyone intends to sleep on it.

This is charming historic home that was originally built in the 1940s. It has been updated throughout the years and has modern amenities including central air and a dishwasher. The home is nostalgic, but has plenty of room It is located in a quite neighborhood that is conveniently located to downtown and highwaysWe enjoyed being able to stay in a quite neighborhood rather than being crowed into two hotel rooms. We will definitely try to reserve this home on our next trip to Birmingham.

There were six of us. Four were seniors so the steps were a challenge but we’re glad we were in the neighborhood where it was peaceful. Would love to get this place again if we’re ever back.One thing I would add is you fumigate for the ants. They were a little pesty.

Danny is a wonderful host!

Danny could not have been more gracious as a host. He made certain that the property was well understood prior to check-in and offered all that was needed. He was so kind and accommodating with any exceptions and a wonderful communicator. I would recommend his property with no hesitation.
