The first room we were in had some stains on the carpet and the AC didn’t work. But in all fairness to be hotel they moved us to another room, straight away and allowed a later check out. I would’ve perhaps liked complimentary parking especially as they didn’t give me the right code for that in the first instance for the Ring Go app which meant I could only book for 24 hours at a time and didn’t get the promised discount for the first day.

We had an excellent stay at the Park Regis Birmingham, very spacious room, comfortable bed, nice view and a modern large shower. The buffet breakfast was outstanding with great choice and presented well. The service we received by the staff was 5 star, they were all friendly and couldn’t do enough for you especially Meheh. We are returning again at the end of September and we are already looking forward to see you all again - regards the Italian guy with decaf coffee 😊

Beautiful hotel Impressive reception area. Booked basic double and that is what we got- nothing flashy, but very clean and functional for one nights stay. I stayed on the 7th group as part of a group (We booked about 8 rooms) and we all had a very poor experience regarding ventilation. The room were so hot, we were roasting. We called reception and told them about the unbearable heat in the room, while they promised to adjust the AC remotely, nothing was done. On the second day, they had to bring a fan for us to use, which helped a bit. However many of the other party in our group were not so fortunate.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Regis. The hotel is clean and tastefully decorated. Location is a short walk from the Birmingham canals and other tourist attractions. I recommend the historical tour boat rides through the canal. Firstly I cannot speak highly enough of the staff. Everyone was exceptional; however, I would like to thank the restaurant staff. The have a great buffet breakfast every morning with a great selection. The supervisor Mehdi helped to ensure everything was fresh, beautifully presented and catered to a wide variety of tastes. We were always welcomed with a friendly smile and he also took time to ensure each guest was personally taken care of. He and our server Blossom remembered how we liked our coffee and ensured it was ready for us shortly after we arrived. Mostly even though it was a breakfast buffet Blossom took time to adjust for special requests. The rooms were a good size and the cleaning staff was great.

The room was clean with air-conditioning coffee machine tea and biscuits, we were met at Reception by Pooja who was very helpful and polite gave us a complimentary drink. Breakfast was a buffet breakfast and was really lovely and tasty. My sister was gluten-free and they prepared some of her breakfast like croissants gluten-free. Unfortunately, and this is the second time it has happened to me. I booked the room for two people when I arrived at the hotel they told me only one person was booked so I had to pay for breakfast for one of us. I was quite upset. When I chatted Expedia, they said there’s nothing they could do but I remember checking the details and seeing it was only for one person and redoing it again so I don’t know how that happened unfortunately I did not check my receipt before I went. It was a busy time for me my daughter was getting married. When we went to redeem our free drink, the bar staff (male) that evening was quite rude to my husbands. He was quite upset with the service at the bar that evening.
