「Really enjoyed our stay at Hanscoms in Bar Harbor. Our cottage was very clean and comfortable. The location is about 10 minutes outside of the busy areas of Bar Harbor and about 5 minutes away from Acadia NP... close, but not too close... nice and quiet. In hindsight we probably would have selected a unit with more of a kitchen, ours just had a small fridge and microwave. Nice touch... there is a community area with a fire pit and everything is provided to get a nice fire going.」

「The property is very convenient to the Bar Harbor Shopping and activity center. The breakfast arrangement with Every Day Joe restaurant was great - good food and very convenient. We tried to find out if we could get into the unit earlier than the general arrival time. Phone numbers provided went to voicemail, text was responded to but never got a message back about it.」

「A beautiful little cottage!
Our host made sure we had all the comforts of home. Communication was wonderful. Clean & cozy! We enjoyed walking through the trails they made on the property. Only a hour away from Acadia National Park.
Wish we had time to stay longer!」

「The property was dirty. Broom clean, but not clean, clean. The fan above the stove was really gross and had cobwebs, the broiler drawer on the oven had mouse poop in it, and the air conditioner in the second bedroom was also filthy.」

「Everything was great. The communication from the start and throughout our stay was fast and helpful. The apartment is very clean and a great space for a family. Well equipped with the essentials. The location cannot be beat. You are steps from the corner of Cottage and Main Streets which are the major commercial areas. There are countless restaurants and shops within an easy walk. We drove to Bar Harbor and used public parking but it was not bad. There are numerous lots nearby and when...
