The Space:
Appropriately named “The Nicest Hill Condominium in Big Sky”, this home has been remodeled into the perfect balance of cozy meets luxury. Nestled in the center of Big Sky Resort, the largest skiing in America, this two-bedroom get-away allows you to walk out the front door and be on the slopes or shops in minutes. Not only great for a ski vacation, Big Sky Resort`s "Basecamp to Yellowstone" provides year-round fun for people of all ages, with a wide range of activities from scenic lift rides in the summer to guided snowshoe tours in the winter. If you are looking to get your adrenaline pumping, visit Basecamp to fly through the trees on either the "Nature" or "Adventure" zipline! In the summer, a number of fun activities for the whole family are available a short 5-10 minute walk from your condo. Hike the "Moose Tracks" trail at Big Sky Resort, before enjoying a relaxing sunny afternoon paddleboarding or lounging by the "beach" at Lake Levinsky. For the days not spent outdoors, the three-story layout permits working remotely or attending online classes during these unprecedented times or tranquility during a much-needed adventure. With all updated appliances, big windows with a great view out the back of wooded creek, gas fireplace, sizeable closets, laundry room, big bathtub, pull-out couch, cozy balcony loft, and a great less-is-more feel, this condo will more than satisfy a small family or two couples.

Bathroom 1 (shower/tub combo) is located on the main level, bathroom 2 (walk-in shower) is located on the second level.

Getting Around:
We highly recommend that our guests rent a 4x4 vehicle during the winter months (October-May). Please be aware that shuttle services must be booked in advance, and rideshare options like Uber or Lyft are unavailable in the area.

Other Things to Note:
Parking: This unit is allowed one parking space with parking pass required.

Interaction with Guests:
Your Super Host, Ascend Properties, is local and readily available to address any requests you may have during your stay.

Overall the place was clean and had everything we needed. Downfall was close quarters with neighbors and snow shoveling at 5am outside the bedroom. But overall good place to stay close to the mountain village.

Montana ski trip

This is the first time that I’ve used VRBO. The reservation, the check-in, and the communication were top notch. Only the distance to ski parking was overlooked. We will stay again next year but likely find a ski in/ski out. Thanks Vrbo. .

Excellent Ski Condo

Close walk to shuttle that picks up at resort parking lots. Clean and quiet. The included, in the condo, laundry is an awesome feature. Probably helps keep the condo from stinking too! There are laundry pods and dryer sheets on the counter, so I felt encouraged to use it. Everything worked well. The parking is close, but you have to pay attention to the snow removal plan. Only one of the two parking tags was in our condo. I never received a text or call from the property management company when I inquired about the second tag. Prior to arrival they answered my call and were helpful. Overall, a great condo and location.

Family Ski Vacation

The property was perfect for my family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children). It is conveniently located within walking distance to the nearest Big Sky Resort shuttle stop. The kitchen is well stocked. The check-in/out process was very easy. We would definitely stay here again.

Skiing, on mountain, short shuttle

Quick trip with kids and a couple others. Location was great, short walk to shuttle. Was just big enough for 3 adults and 2 kids, but a little cramped in main area with limited space for gear. Was enough for our short stay. Washer/dryer, kitchen space was fantastic. Plenty of parking on a holiday weekend. The small room upstairs was definitely a unique bedroom space, would have been great for kids if only 2 adults along, but they had couch and I had the upstairs nook. Was ok, a place for a bed, not ideal for an adult. If just my wife and 2 kids, I would definitely book again!

Great stay in Big Sky

We enjoyed our stay in July. The condo was clean and well stocked. No air-conditioning does mean that you must sleep with the windows open and therefore hear all of the activity outside. Overall, the noise was pretty much gone by 10pm. The stairs to the 2nd bedroom are pretty tricky. The kids stayed up there so they did not have too much trouble.

Great location, needs some basic touches

Great location, walking distance to shuttle. Apartment is clean and adequate space for three small people. Great to have a bathroom on each level. A few notes- there are no extra blankets or pillows. The upstairs loft doesn’t have central heating so you are limited to a space heater- needless to say this isn’t ideal. This is apartment living so expect noise, hearing neighbors through the walls, noise from the outside walkway, and the washing machine shakes the apartment when in spin cycle. Finally, bedroom has a door and a window to the outside. The auto triggered light outside was on and off throughout the night which can be difficult for sleep. A few extra blankets, good pillows and a curtain over the window and the rating would be higher.

Lots of construction noise

Arrived in the late evening with no parking pass and very few towels. Coverlet was also stained and a pile of dirty towels in the closet. Management company was helpful and responsive to fix these items. Property is great on the inside and we’ll equipped, but there were construction crews remodeling the exterior of the complex as well as replacing the parking lot which made for almost no sleep in the mornings and a constant shuffling of the car. Had this been disclosed in the reservation we probably would not have booked.

I don’t usually do reviews, but I feel obligated to let others know of our experience. The cleanliness of this condo was disappointing. There was a lot of dark long hair on the bathroom floors. Crumbs on the living room floor. Blood on the comforter along with other stains. This lack in housekeeping made me wonder what else had not been cleaned. The dryer did not work efficiently. I had to dry a load three times to get the clothes dry. And these were small loads. Pillows on the bed were very uncomfortable. Also, be aware that this group of condos is under renovation, which we were not made aware of, so you will wake up to the sounds of that activity. The addition of ceiling fans or at least a box fan would be nice since it does get warm during the day. Needless to stay I would not stay here again.

Big Sky Perfection

My family of four stayed here for nearly a week. It was a perfect location to explore Big Sky, Bozeman, and Yellowstone. This condo is perfectly laid out and beautifully decorated. The third floor that we referred to as the treehouse as perfect for our children to sleep (ages 11 & 9).
