"This is our 4th year staying at Black Hills Ponderosa Place, and we continue to be impressed with our stays. The cabin is well-appointed: comfortable bed, plenty of seating in the living room, and a kitchen with all the appliances/utensils/pots and pans you want for cooking. And the location? Absolutely ideal! It is just two blocks off the Mickelson Trail - and the local grocery store (Lynn's DakotaMart). It is a 5-7 minute walk to downtown Custer.And yet this property, located high on a hill, is so quiet at night that you could believe you're in a remote area. We have never worried about the safety of our bikes. Crystal is the consummate host! She will do all in her power to make your stay comfortable. Her contact information is clearly posted inside the cabin. We will continue to stay at BHPP every time we come to Custer. Highly recommend this place!"
