「I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The Lincoln is located in the heart of Marfa and is great home-base for trips to the McDonald Observatory and Big Bend. 「Our group of 6 chose to stay at Mark's place to be near the BBNP entrance, but that didn't work out quite right for us. Location is ~18 miles down a narrow, winding, lonely road off the main hwy. Then about another 5 miles of dirt road to get to Casa de Chiles. Mark greeted us as we drove up in the early evening. 「My fiancee and I stayed here for several days. The walls are thin and you can hear the outside, but the a/c noise will counter the outside noise. If you are a light sleeper like me, I would recommend a noisemaker if not used to street sounds. 「My wife and I have done Tiny House type stays before and it works for us. The hosts were very nice and responded quickly to the few needs we had. Air conditioning was great and so was the shower. We were visiting family and will use the Casita on Mesita again if we can.」
