Vintage A-Frame, Close to Natl Forest, 10 min Downtown, Ski In/Out , Arcade

Step back in time to an era when men smoked cigars for exercise and hair spray ruled the day. Our charming yellow A-frame, tucked at the top of desirable Upper Moonridge, offers the perfect escape. Nestled next to the serene National Forest yet just minutes from Bear Mountain Resort, it’s an ideal spot to skip the crowds and head on your hike!

Unwind in a warm, retro atmosphere with all the modern comforts you need.

Living Room: Relax on two cozy couches, two recliners, and a vintage rocking chair. Dine at one of two expandable tables (each seats four). Stream your favorite shows on a 50" smart TV, challenge friends on the arcade system (900+ classic games!), and warm up by the fireplace.

Kitchen: The kitchen is small but mighty. It is equipped with a full size oven, a Breville toaster oven, blender, Keurig coffee maker, and plenty of cookware. While the refrigerator is apartment-sized, there’s ample storage for a weekend’s worth of provisions. Note: There’s no dishwasher or garbage disposal—just classic 60s charm!

Bedrooms:
Master: Full-size bed with a heated mattress cover, dresser, luggage rack, and 42" smart TV.
Second Bedroom: Two twin beds with heated blankets, goose-down duvets, dresser, and smart TV.

Bathroom: Stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash for your convenience.

Outdoors: Enjoy summer picnics under oak trees or cozy evenings around the propane firepit. The shed has sleds, snow shovels, and games like cornhole and horseshoes for year-round fun. Fire up the Blackstone-style grill or stargaze under the clear mountain skies. Firewood available for sale.

Come unwind and relive the classic charm of the 1960s in our delightful cabin!

Other Details to Note:
This is our family’s beloved vacation home—not a full-time rental—so some pantry and closet items are reserved for personal use. Many of the cabin’s unique vintage elements, like countertops, hanging lamps, and folding doors are original treasures. Please help us preserve their charm.

We stayed at this cozy A-frame for a couple of days in the summer. The area is quite lovely and there are many activities to do this time of year. The house is a decent size for a couple or small family. It's near Bear Mountain and not too far from the Village. We enjoyed our stay very much and recommend for those looking for a quiet getaway to the mountains.
