Shame on me for not reading reviews…

Booked a last minute trip for my son and I to stay after skiing all day and thankfully only planned to sleep at the cabin. Communication was great beforehand, however, even though they knew my son was coming there was no bedding for the 2nd bed (which was different from the wooden futon in the pic…it was a black pleather couch that folded into a twin). There was also no extra bedding to share. No pillows only shams on main bed. We got back late so didn’t want to bother mgmt or wait for a response. & Upon reading the last review I realized they were already aware of running bath faucet and broken thermostat. Had to sleep with bathroom window open as it was so hot. No TV remote so TV didn’t work. Pile of cigarette ashes on edge of tub. Definitely NOT worth the 200 for one night I paid. We will not be back. I don’t mind rustic weathered cabins but definitely expected more for that price.

I have to say that we were really disappointed with the room. Constant drip in the shower, can’t turn the water off. Missing appliances, heater thermostat didn’t work.. it had to be over 100degrees in here. Stained blanket for the bed and no refrigerator? I hope that the housekeeping staff actually cleans the utensils in the drawer. I almost feel like we were given this unit by mistake? How can you rent this in the condition that it’s in?

Wifi is really bad. Refrigerator works like freezer. Everything we put in getting frozen. No responds from host. Huge disappointment.

Big Bear getaway

Ok place but could be better with a little love. Good location right near town, but also RIGHT on the highway. Rooms were clean, but shower leaked, toilet seat was loose and bathroom sink had no soap. Stove required a lighter which wasn't supplied. Refridgerator/freezer was frozen over, and froze the food in the fridge. Some kitchen supplies, but no pan, and only 2 forks? Just little details would make this a great place you want to come back to, but as is I would probably look elsewhere.

We love this place. My husband and I stayed here for our 11 year anniversary almost 7 years ago and we loved it them. We decided to take our 4yr old to big bear for the perseid meteor shower and thought we would try this place again. It was exactly like we remember it. Cozy, quiet, and clean. Check in and out was easy and straightforward. We will definitely come back again!

Overall a great little place. The beds weren't very comfortable. There were no washcloths and only 1 roll of toilet paper (partial roll). Other than that...cute place to stay.
