For walkers in the group, discover a network of cycle paths and undulating countryside from the front door, or perhaps drive 8 miles to Market Weighton to join the 80-mile route of the Yorkshire Wolds Way. The coast is 15.5 miles away in Hornsea and is lovely for a family day out with amusements, fish and chips and soft, sandy beaches. The village pub, which also serves food, is just across the road, and a well‑stocked village shop is just down the street.
