Wir kommen schon seit mehreren Jahren und sind grundsätzlich sehr zufrieden. Wir beobachten aber, dass einige Dinge Instandgesetzt werden könnten (Lichter, Pergola, Kühlschrank…). Auch könnte am Pool ein etwas besserer Service sein (Matten auflegen, Schirme aufspannen, Handtücher wegräumen).

Perfect place to stay in Umbria

This was an excellent place to stay during our tour through Umbria. Located perfectly just outside the walls of Bevagna old town. The gardens surrounding the residence are beautifully kept, with green lawns and a sparkling clean pool which was great after an afternoon of exploring. The rooms themselves were huge, with a lounge/dining room and a separate bedroom with comfortable bed. The bathroom was small but clean, but good water pressure and basic toiletries provided. Both air-con and wifi worked well and onsite parking was convenient for us. Customer service was excellent and the addition of a very cute and friendly cat completed the package! We did not eat onsite so cannot comment on food, but overall I consider this property excellent value. Really enjoyed the time here and would happily return.

I have only been here twice …

Residenza Porta Guelfa, being only about five minutes walk away from the city walls of Bevanga, is a great place to stay. Fantastic hosts, a swimming pool, nice appartments with good beds.

Una location immersa nel verde dell'Umbria

La posizione della residenza è molto comoda, a pochi chilometri da centri come Spello, Assisi, Gubbio e Spoleto. Degno di nota anche il borgo di Bevagna, un piccolo gioiellino medievale. La residenza è molto tranquilla, immersa nel verde e con dei mini appartamenti in cui si può anche cucinare. Pulizia ottima e proprietario gentilissimo e attento.

L'albergo è ubicato nel verde, le camere sono ampie, ben attrezzate ma necessitano di manutenzione (macchie di umido alle pareti, doccia che non scarica, lampadine fulminate). In virtù della bella struttura dell'albergo è auspicabile un generale restyling. Il personale è gentile e disponibile.

The Good Life of Umbria

It was a most relaxing location. It was also a great springboard for visiting the other towns and villages in the area. Political people are pleasant and friendly and supportive and all the things we wanted to do. Michael at the residenza was most charming and helpful. The breakfast every morning was a joy to see and a pleasure to eat.

Grande cordialità e simpatia del gestore. Situato a pochi passi dall'abitato di Bevagna, immerso in un giardino molto ben curato e dotato di piccola piscina. Camere molto spaziose e confortevoli. Prima colazione servita in camera.

Posto gradevole, ampio parcheggio, piscina, alloggi ampi ed abbastanza puliti, magari le zanzariere alle finestre avrebbero aiutato a ventilare maggiormente i locali. essendo la configurazione in residence, si ha a disposizione anche la cucina di conseguenza è necessario acquistare le provviste per la colazione o chiederle pagando a parte. Il sito non presenta con suifficienti dettagli la struttura ed i servizi offerti. in generale buono.

Surprisingly pleasant hotel in a historical place

The hotel manager was top class and greeted us as we drove into the hotel. He was very friendly and helpful and helped with carrying some of the bags. He looked after us very well. The apartment very clean and comfortable and very spacious.
