"This evening stay was picked because of the indoor pool, which turned out to be a lovely place. You could tell it had been updated. A bit chilly at 75 degrees for this old gal, but, I toughed it out. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Room was clean, bed was comfy, pillows plentiful with softness options. Breakfast in AM was satisfactory. Overall, our stay hit all the buttons we needed for a comfortable stay. Job well done!"

"I should’ve read these reviews better because there is no way on this planet the 5 start reviews on here are real or accurate. For starters, how does a non-smoking hotel smell like an old ashtray? Also, I would’ve said the room wasn’t horrible if they didn’t steal my money. The room itself wasn’t the cleanest but the atmosphere of this location is atrocious. On night one I got back from working late and my card didn’t work. I had to go all the way to the other side at Royal Inn, dodge the parking lot of craters, only to get a man’s help letting me in because no one is at their front desk. There were police nightly in the parking lot, domestic arguments in the hallway, and the tv and internet went in and out all week. The day I checked out I made three trips to my car but my keycard was already shut off yet the kind housekeeper, their one shiny star, let me back in my room to get the rest of my stuff. I’m a business, solo traveler. I have no pets and I had no visitors. I even cleaned up the room myself and yet I haven’t received my deposit back. After reading other reviews it’s probably because I took a shower and used their towels there. They are thieves and not returning deposits. I’ve messaged the hotel and called multiple times but no one picks up the phone. My “sketchy” radar went off when I got there and I should’ve listened. Do not stay here. The headache and trouble is not worth the pennies saved!!!"

"Bed bugs. I awoke at 1:30am on night two/three of my trip to my arm on fire. I turn my phone light on and there’s a literal bed bug crawling on my sheet. I panic and get my child up to go to the desk. The lady moves me to the room directly above. At this point I cannot sleep and neither can my child. So we leave. I let the lady at the front desk know we cannot do it and check out. I drive 7 hours back to Tennessee on 32 minutes of sleep with my arm on fire. I call the next two days trying to get a refund and answers. The hotel tells hotel.com I stayed my full duration and not to issue a refund. I call the hotel and the lady who “checked me out” never checked me out in the system. Thank god the man working found in the activity log that I left at 3:45am due to “being uncomfortable” so hotels.com issues me $88 refund. Mind you, I missed two full days of my trip due to this. I also end up at the doctor with cellulitis from the bites. Do not stay here. I am still trying to get this under control and resolved. "

"My stay was absolutely horrific. Found two bed bugs in our room. Asked for a different room and could only provide us with a single bed room to accommodate, which we needed a double bed. Whole hotel is under remodel. Elevator doesn’t work, light fixtures in hallways are open and wires exposed to children and teens. Worst hotel experience in my life we had to leave and stay somewhere else. Attempted to get refund and personnel at desk apparently doesn’t know how either. "
