Comfortable and well situated
Friendly staff and comfortable room, not huge but big enough. Very good breakfast. Some nice touches: the coffee machine is available most of the day and there's also drinking water to take back to your room. Decoration is individual and a bit quirky.

This hotel is the perfect location, 3 min walk from the Uban, I was there for work at berlinale so it was very convenient to reach quickly postdamer pl and zoo Palast. The room was spacious and warm, comfortable bed and good bathroom with hot water (be careful: shower very slippery). My window was on street side and first floor but I didn't hear any noise, and inside hotel very quiet too, I slept well. I wish there was a mini fridge and kettle in rooms but there are free coffee and tea in the ground floor with tables until late, which is better than most hotels in berlin where you have to pay for hot drinks. The staff is nice. Many shops around and restaurants. It felt safe walking late night.

Great Choice in Schoneberg
Great location only about a 2-3 minute walk to the U-2 Metro Station. Neighborhood has many great bars and restaurants. Staff at front desk is super welcoming and helpful. Rooms are comfortable with nice bathrooms and good water pressure in the shower. Great value...and great hotel.

Very good overall!
This is a great hotel. I loved the location, how spacious the room and bathroom are. There are a few grocery stores close by along with bars and restaurants walking distance. Metro and bus station just around the corner. It’s also not far from the touristic attractions and the airport. I’d definitely be back when in Berlin.

Excellent location for accessing the city and a great buffet breakfast ; coffee/tea provided free 3-8pm, small courtyard; friendly staff; very reasonable rates. Stayed last year and was very happy to return this year. Clean, comfortable rooms and a bathroom with a bath to soak in. Will return.

Great hotel
Lovely hotel really close to the u-Bahn station (2 minute walk). Plenty of bars are restaurants in the area too. Hotel is clean and comfortable, nice big room with en suite. Breakfast is plentiful and a sets you up for the day. We arrived early and hotel were happy to store our luggage until we were able to check in. Had an issue with being checked into the wrong room but was quickly resolved. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Everything was great at the hotel except for ventilation in the room. Only one window that opened partially with no air flow, because it faced an internal courtyard. I had a hard time sleeping because of the heat. The room needs AC or at least a ceiling fan.

Fantastic location. Room was smallish but very clean & well maintained. Breakfast was outstanding & complimentary tea/coffee was available in their breakfast room from 2-8 pm. Staff very pleasant & helpful.

Great place to stay
This hotel is wonderful. The staff were very courteous and friendly. Hotel is across the street from the main train station. Very convenient. Buffet breakfast was delicious. The room was spacious and had a nice view of a courtyard and fountain. I really like this hotel.

This is the one property I would look forward to stay at again and plan to do so on my next visit to Berlin. Though at time the courtyard may be a bit loud with conversations.

Comfortable functional hotel with friendly staff
It’s not a luxury hotel by any stretch but it’s clean and comfortable and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The guy at reception during the day is friendly, funny and supper helpful. I had a single room, which was small but perfectly adequate. I’d definitely stay here again.

Arrived 3 hours early and it wasn't a problem at check-in. Large room and immaculately clean. Very comfortable bed. Free tea and coffee at the bar between 2pm and 8pm.

Good 3 star hotel within a very short walk to the metro system. Excellent breakfast (extra charge) provides a good start to the day. Many reasonably priced restaurants within a short walk.

Excellent location. Plenty of restaurants and bars in the area. Super close to the ubahn and taxi stands. Rooms are very clean and comfy. I plan on staying here in future visits. Hotel staff manager was very nice. The other staff weren't rude but not overly friendly. Not a reason not to go back.

A pleasant 4 night stay
A good value for money hotel if you are looking for a simple hotel in a quiet but convenient location. Easy walking distance to the underground and not that far from the KaDeWe on foot. Breakfast is available until 11am if you need it and not expensive. Some nice Turkish restaurants nearby, a couple of supermarkets and a discount liquor store. The Berlin welcome card is available from reception. The staff are friendly and helpful. I would definitely use this hotel again if coming to Berlin.

The hotel is convenient to getting around the city and grocery stores. The area is away from the tourist areas so more genuine. The room was a good size. The blinds could be better to block out light. The neighborhood was a little noisy, but that's city living.

Great location for gay travellers, very close to the bars etc. The hotel staff were friendly enough and the hotel of a good standard and very clean, however I wouldn't visit the hotel again in the summer months as there is no air conditioning and the rooms are extremely hot, also if you like a dark environment like I do, you will be disappointed in the vertical blinds which let in too much light.

Good Hotel - pity about the smoking
This is a friendly, hepful and well-run hotel. The staff were excellent. The room was adequsately sized with a modedrn ensuite bath/shower/toilet. It is well located; close to the Uban and restaurants in the Gay district. The big problem is the smoking shelter in the central courtyard. In the very hot weather during our stay we had the option of opening the bedroom window and being cooler and suffering the tobacco smoke in the bedroom , or sweltering in the heat. There is no air con. As the hotel was full we could not be moved to an outward facing room. Also the hotel is noisy ar night (the effects of which could be reduced by air con) However, value for money

The hotel was very convenient, a short walking distance to the U-Bahn station, with several places for simple breakfast near the hotel If you choose not eat at the hotel. Front-desk staff was very helpful and friendly. Hotel was clean and totally presentable. Our room was sizeable and comfortable. The only "complaint" would be the noise of people talking in the center-courtyard into the middle of the night -- probably smokers. The acoustics of the courtyard bounced off the voices clearly. That definitely affected the quality of sleep staying in this hotel, if the room faced the inner courtyard. Otherwise, it is a nice place to stay.

I enjoyed staying at this hotel, a good location. very close to the U-Bahn. The staff in the hotel was attentive and friendly the youngest female in the reception( sorry I don't remember her name) was very helpful in a need. Breakfast worth the money.

Comfort and value in a good location
Good location, very close to Nollendorfplatz U Bahn station so easy access to the wide Berlin transport network. A comfortable, good sized room where everything worked. Shower rather than bath. Breakfast adequate and typical. Be aware that rooms at the front of house do not have blackout blinds so front spotlights mean room does not fully darken.

Excellent location and an ideal base
Hotel Sachsenhof is very conveniently located, just a 5 minute walk from the Nollendorf Metro and it's very easy to get to anywhere from here. It's also super close to the main shopping district. Another advantage is lots of good, varied, inexpensive eateries nearby. Hotel staff were efficient and polite. Would definitely stay here again if we are in Berlin.
