「This was a beautiful, quiet location. The property is along a dead end finger in the lake making the water calm for kayaking, paddle boarding and swimming. The water was bath water warm. The hosts were so very nice and accommodating and can catch some huge catfish. The upstairs living space wasn’t a high end place to stay, if that is what you are looking for. It was charming, comfortable and peaceful and just what we needed to get away. We would visit again.」

「The place was in such a mess. We did not stay there. I would like my money refunded or a credit for my next vacation.」

「Cute little place for a get-away. Great price. Just what I was looking for. I stayed a couple of weeks nights. I was a little worried about noise, etc from pizza place next door. It was not a problem at all. That may be a little different on a weekend, idk. Overall I'm happy I picked The Funky Little Shach to stay!」

「Convenience is key when you're on the road like us! Just a short drive from local attractions as well.」

「Definitely met my needs as a solo traveler, easy access and comfy accommodations made life easier here!」

「We had what we needed upon arrival late: ice available in the fridge along with warm hospitality from staff, simple but effective!」

「I absolutely loved this apartment. So so cute and tucked away in the sweetest neighborhood. I was born and raised in Paducah and I am always looking for a nice place to stay when visiting. I will be returning for sure.」

「The space was clean and the host was very hospitable. Nice historic neighborhood. Would stay there again」

「Excellent stay in this luxe apartment. Thoughtful details and exemplary attention from the host made this visit relaxing and pampered. When a small issue with the thermostat popped up, the host remedied it before we even had to ask. Top notch attention! Close to everything you could possibly want to do in Metropolis. Quiet and comfortable.」
