"The staff is wonderful and helpful especially in the bar and restaurant. The rooms need some upgrading. I love the “old” look and feel but worn carpet and patched padded wall coverings needed replaced. With no elevator a 3rd floor stay is difficult with the number of stairs and jig altitude."

"I honestly would give them excellent but they are still updating rooms. When we first walked in, my first impression was not like walking into a chain hotel…but it was so clean! The finish was actually scrubbed off the tub…but it was CLEAN! For me it’s all about safety and cleanliness. I felt secure with their many cameras and staff on duty. It’s a small family owned hotel and that makes a huge difference! I was willing to pay $1,047 at Holiday Inn for 3 days but they jerked me around. The Classic Dessert Aire was 1/3 the price. Breakfast to order was good and we had the beautiful pool to ourselves almost the whole weekend. NO REGRETS"

"Great clean basic lodging. The amenities were nice, including a sauna. The rooms were a good size for 1 or 2 people. Bed was comfortable. The building is older so it's kinda dark in the room. No overhead lights, just plug in lamps. I read the paper outside because of the light. Overall, a great place to stay for the price. Staff was very helpful and friendly."
