Perfect location - centrally located two bedroom home within short walking distance to Bendigo CBD, bars, restaurants, scenic walking trails, Bendigo Art Gallery, Ulumbra Theatre and Lake Weeroona. Set in the beautiful tree lined Hargreaves Street the house has 2 large bedrooms with queen size beds. There is an option for further guests to be accommodated on the sofa bed and an additional single bed, which can be set up on request. There is a comfortable lounge and dining area for up to 6 people.

Also just doors away from Bendigo Tramways and the 'Tramways to Cafés' walking trail (Checkout the 'Walk & Cycle Scenic Trails of Bendigo' on the Bendigo Region website)

Another excellent 4 nights stay at HC, our 3rd. The property is in a very central location, is well appointed and comfortable. The aircon was handy a couple of days. The arrival information received prior to our visit and on the clipboard in the property was clear and covered everything. We plan to return again. Thanks Glenn from Geoff and Eileen.

Location was great.There was a problem with an air conditioner which was promptly handled by the host.My rating of good overall was because the shower floor was a little slippery. I needed to be careful. The cottage was clean and well kept.

Perfect spot for our quick getaway — just a short walk to shops, the lake, and parks. The place was clean and well-kept, and my furry friend had a great time. The hosts were wonderfully accommodating and easy to contact. Definitely will be back.

Lovely accommodation

The cottage was as pictured, spotlessly clean and quiet. Very tastefully decorated, which made it a pleasure to be in. A bonus was Percy and Percy, just across the road which served excellent coffee and food. The bottle of wine left was a very kind gesture. TYVM. We would definitely book this cottage again.

My first choice accommodation in Bendigo

Wonderful stylish character period home. So welcoming and comfortable indoors and out. The neighbourhood has a gentle relaxed vibe and we enjoyed strolling to the interesting historic cafes and hotels nearby.When we return for a longer visit to Bendigo, will definitely book in at Hargreaves Cottage.

A little bit of Bendigo history near the heart of town

We had a lovely couple of days in this charming house in a very quiet street just a 20-minute stroll away from the main town precinct. There were 2 excellent cafes less than 5minutes walk from the front door. The house itself was very comfortable and well cared for. Communication from Glenn was excellent, thank you.

Great getaway

We just wanted a few days out of Melbourne for a change of scenery and a quiet NYE. We love Bendigo and this property was perfect: quiet street, AC and comfortable with all the amenities you need. It was in a great location, walking distance to everything. Plus it was pet friendly so we could bring our dog and it was fully fenced x

Gorgeous cottage convenient location

Lovely little cottage, clean and in a very convenient location. There is a cafe across the road for those morning coffees. It had everything you need for a comfortable short or longer stay. Highly recommend.

Lovely Cottage

Perfect for us and our 2 dogs. The back lawned area was large enough for them to have a play and explore. It was lovely that the heating and lights were on for us when we arrived as it was getting dark. We will return.
