「The property was absolutely beautiful and the location was exceptionally private. 「This vacation stay was a celebration for the 70th birthday of one of 6 sisters. We arrived on Memorial Day and left on the following Friday. We did go into Galena every day for part of the day but spent much of our time chatting, making puzzle and watching "chick flicks". It was a great way to spend time with sisters that I love dearly. The sleeping space was great and we appreciated having three separate baths. Would definitely consider a return trip!」

「Overall it was fabulous! Only drawback was we had a issue with a toilet and notified the owner who responded promptly, yet the maintenance was not able to enter the property because we were out enjoying ourselves, not leaving our key in the lockbox. A suggestion would be that the maintenance/owner have access to another key besides what is given to their guests…..and if so would have rated all 5 stars.」

「This place was very nice and cozy. We had a little mix up when we first arrived but the owner and cleaning lady were really nice and great and got things taken care of right away which we appreciated. The trails are super close and we took our dogs on lots of walks. The location was very close to the golf resort if you’re a golfer and just to drive around the scenery was amazing. I would definitely stay here again.」

「The Aspen House is well stocked and nestled in a lovely patch of land. My kids really enjoyed the outdoor play equipment and we put the fire pit to good use. It rained for part of our stay and the projector was fun for the kids to watch a movie on. My husband enjoyed that a grill was available and since it was on the screen porch, he was able to use it during the rain. Finally, Hailey is a great communicator and quickly responded to any questions I had. Great property!」

「Since it was the Marriott the property has really improved. There is a bar now and a sumptuous breakfast was served. There is now an elevator where there wasn't one before. The beds are quite comfortable and there is housekeeping each day. The staff was quite courteous, except the checkout person was quite cold. i wanted to talk about our great stay but I don't think I would have been too well received. 」
