We moved our daughter into an apartment near WWU and this was the perfect place just outside town for us. House is well equipped and as listed, located in a quiet neighborhood very near Lake Whatcom and the golf course, owner’s communication was great, and is just 20 min from WWU and downtown Bellingham. Highly recommend and we look forward to staying here again when we come up visit.

From the moment we stepped into the bright and welcoming foyer, we knew our stay would be exceptional. The spacious bathrooms, living rooms, and balcony patio offered plenty of room for quiet moments of solitude as well as family gatherings. All areas of the home provided picturesque views of the lake and golf course. The kitchen supplied everything we needed to create a beautiful Thanksgiving dinner. In addition to the great features of the home, its location is only fifteen minutes away from major grocery stores. Thank you Sharon for the use of the rental and communication. I recommend this property for families.

We rented the house for my daughter’s graduation weekend at WWU. It is even better than the pictures. With the decks and the downstairs, there’s plenty of room for people to mingle. The kitchen was well-equipped. There were deer everywhere. It’s a short walk to the shore. Very happy with our experience!

We were in town for just a few days for a family wedding. There were two couples and two singles in our group, so the four bedroom, three bath home was perfect. The neighborhood is a very nice lakeside property about 15 minutes from downtown Bellingham and had all the amenities we wanted and then some. The deer roaming the neighborhood was an added bonus. The home was well designed, and the furnishings were great. We couldn't have been more pleased with the accommodations.

This was a perfect place for us and our grown children to stay while attending a wedding weekend on the lake.It had everything needed for cooking our breakfasts ,taking lovely walks and enjoying the decks.Having a great family room downstairs was great for the sports people to watch their games. Fantastic stay! The house was perfect for our family of 7. Bedroom, bath, living area downstairs and large living/dining area, well equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, and 2 large decks upstairs, complete with plentiful beautiful deck furniture and 2 fire pits. Property is extremely well maintained and very clean. Owners were particularly responsive to questions and very helpful. It didn't hurt that the weather was Fantastic, too. This was The Nicest VRBO we've ever stayed in and would Definitely stay here again when back in Bellingham !

We had a great stay on the lake. Sharon was very helpful through all stages from booking until we checked-out. It is a lovely house with great outdoor space on two decks. We had our family with ages 22 to 80, and we all enjoyed it. The marina is just a short walk as well as a pretty park on the shore. The swim beach is a short drive away. We would definitely try to return to this house for future trips.

This property is absolutely beautiful and even more beautiful than the photos can illustrate. My three teenaged children and I stayed here for a week and it was perfect for us. It is clean, really nicely decorated and everything we needed was here. The owners are friendly and responsive and the location is gorgeous. We spent days at the lake, but also hiked in the Chukanut Mountains and spent time at Whatcom Waterfalls park, where we hiked and swam. We will definitely come back!

This was a wonderful property! From 4 bedrooms, to a fully stocked kitchen, to a great location just down the street from Sofield Park in Gate 1; I can't wait to stay here again! Sharon was very communicative, and even left a hand-written note for check-in. Very easy to access the home via keyless entry. Highly recommend for your next stay in Sudden Valley!

Beautiful and very clean house! Well appointed with nice little touches such as coffee beans ready to ground, decaf tea, toiletries in case something was forgotten. Sharon the owner was very attentive to make sure we had everything we needed. We didn’t have time to enjoy all the amenities such as hot tub or deck fireplace but the beds and rooms were comfortable. This was a long weekend getaway to get better acquainted with the Bellingham/Fairhaven area. This home was quaint, well appointed, and very comfortable. It was a short drive from the Bellingham area (about 15 minutes) and was just far enough out of town to give a more relaxed vibe but close enough to go to the many conveniences of Bellingham, enable a visit the Western Washington University campus, and Fairhaven. There were many beautiful deer inhabiting the entire neighborhood, a tribute to the peacefulness of the area. We're looking forward to return trips!

We enjoyed this house tremendously and would recommend it for families or some couples planning to enjoy the area for awhile. It is in a quiet development with plenty of mature trees and wildlife around you. It was spotless when we arrived and you could host a large gathering easily with two generous decks and plenty of upscale kitchen amenities. Two very comfortable sitting areas, one on each level and a gas burning stove and large TV in both. My family of 5 was very comfortable here and the hosts were incredibly responsive and detailed in their preparations before our arrival. I wouldn’t hesitate to rent this again!

We really enjoyed are stay, we only wish Mt Baker ski area was a little closer it was 1 1/2 hours away so that took a big chunk of time out of our day. The home was very nice and well equipped. There was a power outage prior to us arriving so the upstairs TV was not working but Sharon responded right away and had a neighbor bring over an extension cord, which allowed us to use a different outlet until the issue was resolved. Would stay here again!

My wife and I needed a large home for 4 nights in order to have our adult children and their spouses together for an extended Thanksgiving holiday because we live too far away. This home was absolutely perfect in every way. Not only is the house gorgeous, but the beds were all super comfortable, as well as the couches and chairs. The kitchen table was huge which was a big deal for us because we like to play games as well as eat together. The huge plus for my wife was that the kitchen was stocked with everything she needed in order to cook a full Thanksgiving dinner. There were even super nice serving dishes available. We were able to text the owners with any questions and they always responded within minutes. We have rented a few homes for holidays and this was by far the nicest, cleanest, well stocked and most comfortable home we've had the pleasure of staying. There is even a separate Tv room downstairs which was nice when we had extended family with children come over for the day on Thanksgiving. I have nothing negative to say about our stay. It was as perfect as it gets! Thank you to Sharon and Shelly for making our stay so wonderful!
