「Unfortunately we seem to have been given the worst unit despite all the others being empty! No heater, broken shower head, shower draining too slowly to cope with the flow, table dangerously unstable, toilet consistently running, bench sofas which weren’t comfortable at all. 」

「Die Unterkunft ist sehr schön. Allerdings ist sie den hohen Preis von 150€ pro Nacht nicht wert. Bis max. 100€ wäre angemessen im Vergleich zu ähnlichen Hotels. Das Frühstück ist ein sehr rudimentäres Buffet, es fehlen jegliche Art von Amenities im Zimmer, der TV funktionierte erst, nachdem ich selber die Sender eingestellt hatte, alles in allem fehlte mir ein ausgezeichneter und zuvorkommender Service bei einen Preis von 170€ pro Nacht.」

「Although well located, our unit needed a fair amount of TLC. in particular, the sofas were very dirty. As for the beds, the mattress needed a full replacement. I had to sleep on the couch in order not to feel pain from my back. As for the service, we had a good experience with the restaurant personnel as well as the purser. But the reception employee provided a sub par service. A final word, this resort has not the structure for individuals having a mobility impairment. 」

「We had an incredible time at Monte da Vilharinha. Driving into the property is like something out of a movie. The rural landscape boasts quintessential while buildings, herds of cows with bells, fields of flowers and streams. When we arrived we were greeted by Jafer and the property dog cookie. Jafer was the most incredible host guiding us around the property, letting us know where to take the (free) bikes and available to answer any questions via WhatsApp at any time. 「After a difficult start trying to find my villa on a cold rainy night because of the useless map given out at check-in, number 407 proved spacious and comfortable and the kitchenette well stocked and easy to use. The cleaning and support staff were all friendly. Breakfast when ordered was generous and good and it was a delight to be given fresh bread on the first morning.
