The location of the house in Bedoin (top of village) allows to have a wonderful view on the valley an on the Mont Ventoux. The narrow streets make it pretty difficult to reach the location. The street itself is halfway blocked so one has to arrive from the right side to reach the house. From the house, one can walk to the center of the town in a few minutes, yet the steep region requires that a lot of stairs (or steep street) has to be taken. The center of the town offers all you need: terrasses, restaurants, shops,...
The house is build leaning against the hill, resulting in a three story house : garage and entrance at ground level; 2 bathrooms (one with large shower and one with a spa), toilet, laundry room, 3 bedrooms, and a storage room on level 1, and the living room with exit to the terras and swimming pool on the 2nd level. One has to take a lot of stairs during the day going from one level to another.
The swimming pool is very deep (+ 2 m) with no zone to stand: this can be difficult or even dangerous for smaller children. I had to fill up the pool as its level was - 50 cm below the border; the fill up resulted in colder water that only slowly heated up to 23 C. The tiles of the terras (especially around the pool) are not fixed and can wiggle. Care should be taken here.
The spa in the bathroom is old and should be replaced - we did not use it. Also bed linen and sheets, towels... were provided (one/person) and it is best to take towels oneself.
