"Great food and a convenient place to stop for the night"

"I would advise other travellers to be cautious, especially if arriving late or making a last-minute booking. I should also mention that I was told I would not be offered breakfast because I had booked last minute or arrived late. My experience with the reception staff made me feel very unwelcome and uncomfortable. Regardless of the price paid for a room, every guest should be treated with basic courtesy and respect. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not stay here again."

"Really convenient for what I needed courtyard style room straight onto the car park. Dog friendly with some great walks around the area. Super easy check-in key was in the door. Appreciated the fruit teas and coffees in the morning. We’ll stay again if I need to be in that area."

"Lovely room Excellent food Thank you - I will be back "

"comfortable room, good food, friendly staff"

"Great overnight stay with great staff and good food"

"Great place to stay, great location and room was clean, the staff were great and very helpful and friendly"

"Lovely place to stay, the communal kitchen is a really good idea I don't always want a cooked breakfast when I'm traveling,"

"We were greeted by Noah and he served us breakfast each morning and made our stay more pleasant with his cheerfulness. We slept over the Pub and surprisingly had a great nights sleep for all three nights! We were in walking distance of market square and city shopping! Parks close by and Cam river. Enjoyed our stay!"

"Excellent stay at the Hopping Hare. Food is really really good and the room was large and comfortable."
