I don’t even know where to begin with the cleanliness of the property. During this covid pandemic we expected everything to be clean and spotless. What is the purpose of a cleaning fee if nothing was cleaned? The utensils were filthy and we felt very uncomfortable using them. They were either broken or most of the utensils had old scrambled eggs stuck on them like they haven't been washed. There wasn't even enough dish soap provided to clean these utensils when needed. We were lucky that we had brought some of our own utensils in preparation for the worst case scenario, which ended up happening. The carpets and floors were so dirty that we came in and had to vacuum the entire place. There were pillows cases and towels with stains on them that were dry and old. The dinner table was dusty and when wiped, the Lysol wipes turned brown. We even had to wipe down the couch which had dirty marks on them. Tthe fridge did not keep our food cold at all. We changed it to the coldest setting and it did nothing. All of our food was room temperature and half of our food went bad. To work around the non existent fridge, we had to put food into the freezer. The photos posted describe what would be a luxury home, however, with the lack of working appliances we found ourselves more uncomfortable than relaxed. What confused us further were the two bedrooms downstairs that had tvs that wouldn't work. The tv is Sony but had Samsung controllers? We're we supposed to go for a scavenger hunt to find the correct controller for each tv? Again, we came to relax. I emailed them requesting a later check out on Thursday prior to our arrival on Friday and I did not get a response until Saturday (the night before we left). We had agreed I could check out at 7pm however someone still came and told us at 12pm that we should have checked out already. Coordination between the Vacasa team and response time to guests were highly lacking. Due to the lack of responsiveness we felt prior to arrival, we felt it would be useless to even reach out during our stay.If the Vacasa feedback in regards to a 10am check out is to ensure the next guests' 4pm check in is due to needing the time to clean then actually use that time to clean. If you have guests visiting, reply in a timely manner. Overall, I would not recommend any of my friends to stay here unless all the issues stated above have been resolved.
