「The Black Friars has been our best hotel experience so far in our 2 week vacation in Scotland. Our room was very clean, comfortable, and had a lovely rainshower bathroom feature. One can hear some noise from the hallway & a room above. Not a deal breaker. There is no elevator. The onsite restaurant has a nice selection of entrees, very good tasting food and is reasonably priced.My traveling companion has high praise for the braised short ribs and their truffle fries with Parmesan cheese! ...

「トイレと浴室が、隣の部屋でした。2階には、この二つの部屋しかなく、私たちしか利用しないから、共用ではなく問題はないんですが、一度ドアを出て、廊下に出て、トイレ・浴室に入る必要があります。 廊下からは1階のエントランスが見えます。 ちょっと今まで経験した事がないパターンでした。 浴室には、バスローブがあり、それを着て、部屋を移動することになります。 バスタブはあるのですが、利用はできません。」

「家族経営のB&Bで、部屋も温かみのある雰囲気で、かつセンスの良さがあって落ち着いて過ごせた。街の中心から徒歩10分、夜はとても静かだった。廊下には宿泊客が自由に使えるアダプターやミニライブラリーがあって、いたるところに気遣いが感じられた。」

「Delightful and friendly hosts, sharing their knowledge of local birds and wildlife, saw our first Red Squirrel, great little Bnb in a lovely village, great breakfast, really nice stay, would highly recommend 」

「Our original room, The Robert Burns Siute, was dark, and faced the road with a view of the dumpsters. After complaining immediately to the manager, he booked us into room 2, Mary Queen of Scott’s, a beautiful room facing the loch with breath-taking views. Heated floors in the bathroom, a comfortable king bed and excellent service rounded out our experience. The loud 1970s music blaring during our adequate dinner was unpleasant though.」
