nice typical little house - but not very clean - even if there was water shortage, provision should have been given to guests, and kitchen with leftover dishes

slechte communicatie

ik had meermalen contoact vooraf gezocht omdat ik per bus arriveerde die altijd later kan aankomen. maar op telfoon sms en voice mail werd niet gereageerd. toen ik 's avonds laat aanbelde deed niemand de deur open en stond ik moederziel alleen op straat in het pikkedonker in een wild vreemde stad die onveilig kan zijn.

great place

staff were super friendly and helpful rooms were big and very comfortable beautiful little place only down point was dinner across the road but this has no reflection on 3chimneys

A bit noisy

Reception, Room etc was great. However, I didnt realize that Beaufort West is on the main route from Jhb to Ctn and so staying on the main road through the town was a bit noisy with the large trucks etc

delightful hosts in Beaufort West

We enjoyed meeting Joyce and Godwin, and they worked hard to make our stay enjoyable. We would happily stay there again.

Value for money

3 Chimneys was just a one-night stop-over on our way home but it was excellent value for money with friendly hosts and good, clean facilities. We enjoyed our stay and would be happy to return.

basically good

we booked the room overlooking the pool. The welcome was friendly, good parking on the premise and breakfast nice. The room looks a bit different from what the website shows. It could do with a little tender, love and care. The shower is leaking because of which the floor gets quite wet in front of the basin cabinet, the bottom drawer doesn't open. It is a good stay for visiting the Karoo national park. Best also provide a hairdryer with a plug that fits the ZA wall sockets. The host seem a bit afraid of the black community in the city center as they warned us not to go there in the evening .... which a quite on overstatement.

Definitely recommended.

This guesthoue is absolutely beautiful. It is very laid back (they even have an honesty bar). I always worry with guesthouses that the owner will be "overbearing". In the Three Chimneys we were warmly welcomed, shown to our secure parking and then left to our own devices.

Thumbs up

It was very nice, they have secure parking and are very accommodating. They have a pool and free wifi. Their staff was very friendly. I am pleased with my stay there. It is a nice place to stop when traveling by car.
