「Very quiet and peaceful」

「This place was fantastic! The house itself was fabulous, the fireplace was a really lovely and romantic touch (great for honeymoon), and the surrounding ruins are really amazing to walk through, definitely check out the mountain mine shaft trail as well. The whole area is just stunning.The location is great too, just a very short ways into Allihies proper, which is a really charming village with great fish and chips and a couple really nice pubs. If you have to chance to listen to a live music...

「A boutique hotel with a great restaurant attached (Caseys) run by a family who are great innkeepers. They own a farm about 1/2 mile away which raises a rare breed of pigs so all of the pork entrees were great. They also own and run No. 35, the top rated restaurant in Kenmare. My wife commented that this was the best hotel she’d ever stayed in, not because of the outside, but because of the staff on the inside.」
