「I travel for work so I stay in a lot of hotels. The Machias River Inn is by far one of my favorites! The cleanliness is unmatched, the rooms are updated and comfortable and the river view is so nice. The hotel has a gift shop that has everything you can think of. Another benefit is the restaurant in the same parking lot. The food was phenomenal! Seriously, look no further for your stay, you will not be disappointed! 」

「We had an absolutely fabulous stay - My only feedback is that Ellsworth is NOT 20 minutes away, and Winter Harbor isn't 10 minutes away - it's 45 and 20 respectively, so plan ahead for supplies, it's not as quick of a jaunt to the store as we had anticipated - though there are smaller grocery stores closer than Ellsworth. The Cabin was lovely, the beach was incredible, and the setting was amazing. We will be back! 」

「We loved staying here! The cottage was comfortable, clean, and a little larger than we were expecting! The shower was a little small…but that wasn’t a deal breaker. Loved having coffee and reading on the deck. We got to observe a lobsterman checking his traps. We made several trips to Milbridge for groceries and a meal. The highlight was the Catch Your Own Lobster (most of us watched) Boat Trip…lots of seals…and a delicious lobster dinner at the dock. If we lived closer, we would do it all...

「The village of Corea is beautiful and peaceful. My family had a wonderful stay. We enjoyed cooking on the Blackstone grill. We were able to eat outside for many meals, unless it was too chilly or windy. We loved walking and running around the town and the small beaches nearby. The yard is large and there isn’t much traffic going by the house. Pamela provides outdoor toys, so our kids enjoyed playing ball in the yard. There were also books for the kids.
