Find a monument honoring local veterans outside the historic building. Walk a block from the courthouse to see the Compton Clock, which marks the center of downtown Bay Minette.
Relive the extraterrestrial experiences of Close Encounters of the Third Kind, which was filmed by Steven Spielberg at the L & N Railroad Station. Take a tour of the station and get photos of the old-fashioned wooden façade. The eerie swamp at nearby Byrnes Landing also put Bay Minette on the cinematic map after it featured in Friday the 13th Part VII.
