「This pretty little hotel is just a 5 minute walk from the train station and is on a corner opposite the lake. We loved our room layout (Louis Armstrong room) and breakfast was great! They even have nice umbrellas for guests to use on rainy days like this one.」

「We spent one night at this hotel and loved it. We arrived early and one of our rooms was already ready, which was very convenient. Simple rooms but with everything. The spa is also great, and the restaurant is excellent. Everything went great and we will definitely stay here again whenever we come to this area. Only thing that could be improved is that the pool temperature was not very warm (definitely not 35 degrees), so it was a bit cold for the cool weather.」

「Central lakefront location steps away from the docks which was helpful as we visited the islands. Very clean property with polished rooms.」

「For the Locarno Film Festival, the location was excellent with both free city buses and the festival shuttle coming right in front of the hotel. Rooms were in excellent shape, and the breakfast was very good. Staff were helpful and very friendly!」

「Wunderbares Hotel, nahe beim Bahnhof Gordola. Sehr sauber, gut gekühltes Zimmer, sehr freundliches Personal, tolles Frühstück! Wir kommen wieder!」

「Helpful staff, excellent breakfast, room ok but in need of refurbishment. Shower excellent. We had balcony and view over lake (worth asking for). It’s noisy with busy road next to property.」

「Unser Doppelzimmer war in Ordnung und sauber. Leider gibt es im Zimmer keine Möglichkeit, nasse Badetücher zum Trocknen aufzuhängen, was etwas unpraktisch ist. Das Frühstücksbuffet hat noch Verbesserungspotenzial. Die Platten mit Wurst und Käse sind zu klein und müssen deshalb ständig nachgefüllt werden. Dadurch sind sie oft leer, was den Frühstücksgenuss etwas beeinträchtigt.」
