"The receptionists were wonderful. Because we were not sure if we could check in on time, I called and explained our time issues over the phone with the first receptionist. She was very understanding of our situation and assured me that all would be well by doing the checking that way.
When we arrived later that night, everything was indeed ready for us. The second receptionist knew exactly who we were and received us as if we were old friends already.
The next morning, our family enjoyed a great breakfast with a menu our grandchildren loved.
The 2 reserved bedrooms were perfectly clean, comfortable, and spacious.
We will definitely come back whenever we come to visit Nauvoo, in Illinois, with its pageants. The proximity of the hotel at Fort Madison makes it very convenient."
"Very nicely decorated, clean and cozy. The host has thought of everything. Has fully stocked kitchen and even has soap, shampoo, conditioner and plenty of towels and extra pillows and blankets. Has a washer and dryer and iron and ironing board in unit as well. Provided complimentary coffee k cups and even left some muffins for us upon arrival. The only thing we would change is heavier curtains or mini blinds in bathroom windows as the curtains are not completely opaque but we were able to hang a towel over the curtain so it was more private. Apartment has smart TV, movies, CDs and player and some games and books. Nice quiet residence a block from the river. Loved eating at Misty's Malt Shoppe also. Quite a variety and reasonably priced. Bev replied quickly with any questions. Would definitely stay here again."
Charming 3-bedroom apartment with WiFi, AC in welcoming Historic Nauvoo.
10/10 Excellent
"Clean unit right on Mulholland street. As described in listing. Was clean and air worked great on a hot Nauvoo day. It is old and has steep stairs so if you struggle with stairs this is not the unit for you. Great communication and check-in"
