1 Bed in Bath (oc-bhr29)

  • Nestled amongst some handsome Georgian stone terraces, this stylish and sophisticated ground-floor apartment in Bath offers couples a truly peaceful retreat in the heart of Somerset’s most historic city. Bursting with charm and character, the ancient city of Bath is a haven for anyone who loves nothing better than uncovering rich local culture and history. Explore one of Bath’s most spectacular buildings, the Holburne Museum less than half a mile away or uncover hundreds of years of history at the magnificent Bath Abbey just under a mile away. Pick up some of this area’s best local produce from the wonderful local boutiques, delis, cafes and restaurants on your doorstep before relaxing in a deckchair in the Parade Gardens half a mile away. The vibrant city of Bristol, home to museums, galleries and some famous Banksy artwork, can be reached within 22 miles.

After a long day exploring the rich heritage and Georgian architecture of beautiful Bath, the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner at the heart of this home-from-home welcomes tired travellers to unwind and dine with loved ones long into the evening. Perfectly combining contemporary charm with period touches including a wonderful sash window and shutters, this endlessly social space boasts a truly homely ambience, with the soothing colour palette of muted hues setting the scene for pure relaxation. The sofa can also be converted into a handy sofa bed to cater for one additional guest. Relax weary walking muscles with a long soak in the bath in the elegant family bathroom before retiring to the crisp, white linens of the calming king-size bedroom, which shares the same charm and character as the rest of the apartment.

Outside, enjoy your morning coffee at sunrise or a glass of something chilled at sunset in the private terrace that’s perfect for al fresco dining whilst watching the world go by. Outside, you’ll also find private parking for one car.

The apartment was clean and in a good location, near enough to the heart of the city to easily walk to. The kitchen was also very clean and modern, as well as the bathroom. I would recommend this to friends and family as a very good place to stay while visiting Bath.

A week in Bath

A lovely well equipped property with all you would need for a comfortable stay. Parking space is very tight! Didn't need to use the car during our stay though as the property was so close to all that Bath had to offer. And it offers a lot!

Great location and luxe accommodation

The property was well located to downtown Bath with only a short walk. The parking spot, though tight, was invaluable as parking is difficult in Bath. The bed was really comfortable and the fittings was equipped so we could cook some meals inside. The perfect place for a slightly longer getaway with all your needs met. Highly recommended.

Exactly what I had hoped for!

Fantastic apartment, pictures online were accurate. Very clean, fully stocked kitchen for cookware and dishes. Lovely neighborhood, easy to walk in to center of town in less than 10 minutes, felt very safe there. I would rent this apartment again in a heartbeat and may try to do so next year!

I have never found such a well-equipped kitchen in any holiday let I have stayed in. I spent nine days there for the Jane Austen festival, partly by myself and partly with a friend. She thought the sofa bed was excellent, and it was so easy to unfold. We had ample space to hang up all our Regency outfits in the wardrobe, along with a deep shelf for the hat boxes. Add to that the parking space, which was a huge bonus, and the convenient walk into the city centre.

A cosy place

We were delighted with the apartment. It’s small and very well appointed meaning it feels comfortable and has everything you need. Up to date clean styling gives a relaxing feel. The parking space is a big bonus for Bath, we managed to park a truck there but it is best suited to a small car. And the location is brilliant with a short flat walk to the nicest part of the city. Highly recommended.

Spacious accommodation in the heart of Bath

Wonderful spacious accommodation in the heart of Bath . It’s close to the shops , supermarket and restaurants are all within walking distance . Henrietta Park is beautiful and very close to walk in , lots of lovely trees, birds and squirrels to see and all green ! Parking out the front door was very welcome . Washer / dryer came in handy and the full kitchen we used . Nice to have a separate bedroom to the lounge too . Check in was easy and Laine that met us was very welcoming . We would stay here again

Beautiful and convenient ground floor flat

We were very happy with the flat and arrival help by Laine. The flat is exceptionally clean and comfortable and has an assigned parking space, though it is preferable to have a small car as the space is tight. It is a 5-minute walk to The Pulteney Arms, a friendly pub with excellent food, and less than 10 minutes to the Pulteney Bridge into the city center.
