The house was very well located being across the road from a path along the ocean and only a 10 min walk to the patrolled beach and 15 min walk to the dog friendly beach. The house was perfect for pets with timber floors and enclosed front patio and back yard. There was some traffic noise from the road and a few small maintenance issues which didn’t detract from our weeks stay. I’d recommend the area and the house.

The whole house was spotless and a fantastic layout.You could do with a TV in the western bedroom.There are a couple of maint. jobs to be done but you know thatYour council doesn't like dogs on the " flatter" beaches which is disappointing.Thank you for replying to my messages so promptly, it was very much appreciated.Overall we loved staying there and the Salty Cod is a great place to buy dinner.If ever we find a reason ( or need ) to come back to that area, we will look at staying at your beach house.Have a great weekend.RegardsMartin and TanyaPS: your northern neighbour is from our area here and is very talkative

Very comfortable and clean. Neatly set out surfer themed cottage opposite the beach. Modern bathroom. Dog friendly, which our little pooch enjoyed with no signs of the smells of previous pets. Very quiet at night with the main bedroom at the rear of the home. Having WiFi available was appreciated. Short walk down to the beach, cafe and restaurant.

We loved the original beachshack vibe plus all the mod cons and good quality extras.It was a great spot to be able to just cross the road and walk to a dog friendly beach .We would definitely recommend it and look forward to staying again .

Shelley Beach House old boys weekend.

We stay here a couple of times a year to catch up with old mates, have a surf and generally chill out. It really suits our needs. Close to beach, cafes, club and has a laid back beach house vibe with everything you need for a few days away. We enjoy it.

Pleasant Stay

Nostalgic decor, very clean, modern well equipped kitchen and bathrooms. This was perfect accomodation for us while our son competed in a sports tournament. It had all that we needed - a short but pleasant stay.

The property was well situated and great for the family of 5. There were a few hurdles gaining access and confusion about our booking which caused a delay in checking in. This was however rectified relatively quickly by the property manager. The house is well appointed and comfortable. A bit of TLC and the place could be a cracker. This has already been covered in other reviews regarding lights, doors and cleanliness. However, would stay again as these were only minor inconveniences, the positives well outweighed the hurdles.
