"This place is really the best deal in town. The owner Andy is extremely helpful and kind. The units are very clean and it isn't super noisy. I went for the 109th Anual Mexican Fiesta which was within walking distance and we had a great time. Everytime I come back to my hometown I stay there."

"Overall, a great value to stay in downtown Chanute, Kansas. The host had great communication and all the amenities were excellent. My only challenge with the property was it was in dire need of upkeep could’ve been just a little bit. The building is very old and there were many cracks down multiple walls, which is no fault of the owners. In terms of cleanliness, I had a lot of bugs I had to kill the first night, including ladybugs and grasshopper, which I thought was strange. It was a second building with bugs inside. The fan was extremely dusty, including the ceiling fans and massive stains on the carpets throughout the whole unit. Those are small details, but cleanliness is my number one most important thing when staying in a place and it could’ve been a little bit better. I would still recommend staying here as long as those couple small items were addressed and you don’t mind structural problems of an old building. Otherwise, good place to stay."

"House was great! Had everything we needed. We were in the area working on a job site and stayed 4 weeks in the house. Cindy checked on us during our to make sure we didn’t want any bedding changed out or needed anything. Would definitely recommend staying here."

"Cute little house. Beds were comfortable with plenty of bedding. Bathroom was very clean and well stocked! The negative I have, which iscompletely understandable for a house in the summer, is when I messaged the owner asking if they had something I could use to get rid of the ants in the kitchen I never got a response. Otherwise, great stay in a quiet neighborhood and close to the college!"
