Would highly recommend a windjammer cruise on the Margaret Todd in Bar Harbor and dinner at the Little Fern restaurant in the Claremont Hotel. We absolutely loved our three day stay!」

「The unit is above a garage. There's plenty of privacy and it's very well set up, provided that you don't expect to cook food - which the hosts tell you is not allowed. There is a small fridge, hot pot and Keurig with mugs, paper cups, utensils etc. We had every convenience we wanted and greatly enjoyed our stay. It is only about 15 minutes from Acadia National Park.」

「The uniqueness of the property was very inviting. Everything about the stay was very comfortable and it's a very quiet location.I was able to go for a nature walk just .1 miles away and bike to a beach that was 2.4 miles away. It was a bit of a distance from Bar Harbor but a lovely scenic drive to get there and back. Alan was a wonderful host and we did a lovely campfire one of the evenings.」

「We enjoyed our stay very much. If it had been warm enough to enjoy all of our meals outside that would have been wonderful. We didn’t plan or pack for any rain but when it poured for a solid day, we were thankful for the cabin’s shelter and wifi and umbrella when we went out. Although we brought an infant and a 2.5yo, I wouldn’t necessarily recommend this property for such little/young kids unless you’re prepared for spotting them up and down the ladder. 「The house was very nice and spacious. Plenty of sleeping space for our 5 adults. The house had tons of cleaning supplies, towels, and paper towels and toilet paper. Only a short drove to Arcadia and plenty of other sites including the water front within walking distance. Overall I would recommend to others especially if you have a larger family.」
