Obwohl wir gebucht hatten und eine Bestätigung erhalten haben, war das Zimmer nicht mehr frei und auch sonst nichts in einem Radius von 20 km. Mit 2 kleinen Kindern 800 km von Zuhause entfernt und ohne Unterkunft!!!

Personnel très sympathique,petit déjeuner traditionnel (sucré ou salé) tout à fait correct mais il n'y avait pas de céréale.Possibilité de manger car la pension fait aussi restaurant, très bien aussi et à un prix vraiment raisonnable. Peu de place de parc à la pension mais le personnel nous a trouvé une solution pour notre véhicule. Au top!

Non più pensione ma buoni appartamentini

Non è più Pension Palac ma Apartaments Palac, quindi ho avuto qualche problemino nel trovarli, però a parte questo nel complesso sono stato bene. Insieme alla mia ragazza ci sono stato 2 notti ad agosto 2016, prendendo un appartamento con cucina. Ci hanno fatto il check in alle 10 di sera senza problemi. Cucina funzionante al 100%, bagno con doccia (mini lavandino), letti singoli avvicinati per diventare un matrimoniale. Presente condizionatore e TV piatta (senza canali in italiano). La colazione è a buffet, però non troppo varia e abbondante. Per 2-3 notti va benissimo e ha un buon rapporto qualità/prezzo

Perfect Getaway

Small Beach Town that has everything you can need including New Friends. The staff here was incredibly helpful with guiding us to a mechanic in town, fresh cooking us breakfast everyday (included in our room price), upgrading our room because they had a larger room without a guest. Regular and Separate bedroom set ups are both Large & well laid out for functionality. The bar down stairs is a bit small, but great way to meet some new people while enjoying a reasonable priced drink. A bit cold in the winter with tile floors in the room, but that is typical of coastal towns in this region. Furniture is a little outdated, so it could have more comfort. We recommend this stay though because our experience was wonderful! Such a welcoming environment to get the chance to relax in.

Lovely stay

2 night stay on road trip. Away from the main town of Makarska but tegulsr bus service and lovely coastal walks either way. Room above the bar/restaurant spacious and clean with basic coooking/brewing up facilities.No real noise disturbance but was low season. Nice location on the front near the harbour. Lovely breakfast and can recommend the evening menu. Always friendly and helpful. Parking is restricted and was important to us but the owners ensured we always had a place at the back. Good price like most of Croatia away from Dubrovnik. If you dont need to be in Makarska this is the place to be.

Hotellet ligger mycket bra geografiskt med närhet till uttagsautomat och livsmedelsaffär ( 1 min promenad ). Det ligger alldeles vid hamnen där alla båtutflykter utgår ifrån. Kom ner 9,45 till frukost och fick då säga till om allt som saknades. Det är väl det största minus.

Really attentive staff

Easy to find, only one car parking space (wasn't a problem as we were the only people staying that had a car) Breakfast was excellent, sausages, eggs, bread, cold meats, cereals, yogurts, fresh fruit, juices, tea or coffee. Right on the harbour front with numerous restaurants to choose from.

Hotel bien situé en face de la mer mais sans parking et assez bruyant. Nous avons tout de meme pu nous garer car le receptioniste nous a autorisé l'acces a l'arriere du bâtiment. La chambre était propre et en bon état mais sa configuration peu fonctionnelle. Le petit dejeuner fut copieux mais tout industriel. Rien de local.

Went in April - so off season - very quiet and we had the beaches to ourselves. The hotel was clean and provided a HUGE breakfast. The surrounding neighbourhood was ok, but there isn't a load of things to do there. But, other than that, I can't fault the Palac - it was great value.

Wonderful holiday!

The staff at Pension Palac were very friendly and helpful, and made us feel welcome as soon as we had arrived. The breakfasts were very good and we particularly enjoyed the pastries we were given some mornings. The area around Baska Vova is lovely, with pebble beaches and mountains behind. Being early in the season, the beaches were practically deserted and we enjoyed picnic lunches each day, using produce from the local fruit market and bakery, gazing at the placid sea and fishing boats. We were glad we hired a car so we could potter down the coast and venture up into the majestic mountains to see the spring wildflowers. Altogether, a lovely holiday, the only drawback being a rather uncomfortable bed at the hotel. Not anybody's fault, just that we're used to a rather thicker matress and bedding that actually tucks in.
